Field Inventory Auditor
Circle K
• Verifies merchandise and cash in each of the Company stores by conducting a physical count using a hand held computer • Notifies store manager of wrong prices and pulls out-of-code merchandise. • Count and record cash, checks and food stamps in the register, TACC tubes and safe. • Verify money orders, lottery ticket inventory and bank deposits. • Verify gasoline inventory by sticking tanks and checking for water. • Performs various surveys to verify compliance with operational and financial procedures. • Works in safe manner by complying with procedures, rules and regulations. • Able to work independently with little supervision. • Performs multi-tasks in a fast paced environment. • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Requires 1 year of inventory auditing experience or retail experience in a convenience store environment.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with no major offenses and current liability car insurance.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.

The main activities will be: - Executes accurate, objective, and high-quality social compliance assessments by implementing all requirements indicated in the client specific procedures, auditor training, and audit scope. - Prepares in advance by downloading and reading audit documents related to upcoming audits. - Documents and reports the audit findings/observations and submit the completed audit reports in a timely manner. - Communicates audit results to facility management in a professional, objective, and clear manner. - Verifies the effectiveness of corrective actions taken as a result of audit. - Cooperates with and supports other auditors and staff. - Promptly address any clarification queries from the reviewing team. - Complete all assigned training activities and actively participate in training sessions. - Applies feedback from reviewers, training supervisors, quality managers and client facing teams to future work for continuous improvement. - Treats privileged information with discretion and ensure all audit related documents and results remain confidential and well-guarded. - Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
