RESPONSIBILITIES The Auditor CRS will be responsible for validating social compliance and responsible sourcing practices for our client's supply chain. The main activities will be: - Executes accurate, objective, and high-quality social compliance assessments by implementing all requirements indicated in the client specific procedures, auditor training, and audit scope. - Prepares in advance by downloading and reading audit documents related to upcoming audits. - Documents and reports the audit findings/observations and submit the completed audit reports in a timely manner. - Communicates audit results to facility management in a professional, objective, and clear manner. - Verifies the effectiveness of corrective actions taken as a result of audit. - Cooperates with and supports other auditors and staff. - Promptly address any clarification queries from the reviewing team. - Complete all assigned training activities and actively participate in training sessions. - Applies feedback from reviewers, training supervisors, quality managers and client facing teams to future work for continuous improvement. - Treats privileged information with discretion and ensure all audit related documents and results remain confidential and well-guarded. - Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices. Role Description The Outpatient Coding Compliance Auditor performs audits of outpatient facility (OPPS) coding to ensure accurate assignment of ICD-10-CM diagnoses, CPT/HCPCS codes, modifiers, and facility E/M levels (ACEP or client-specific). This role reviews coding for alignment with medical record documentation and established guidelines, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and billing standards while effectively communicating findings to stakeholders. The Auditor also analyzes audit outcomes to identify trends, determine root causes, and pinpoint opportunities for improvement, as well as assess the effectiveness of corrective actions. Additionally, as part of the Compliance Workplan, the Auditor participates in quality assurance (QA) coding oversight, conducts independent reviews, and supports organizational compliance initiatives. You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
