• You get energized when an empty space is transformed within a few hours into a place where families love to spend time? • You enjoy organizing, rolling up your sleeves, and love delighting people? • You make sure our pop-up stores and events become unforgettable experiences — from planning and setup to the final sale • You coordinate, motivate, find solutions and, together with your team, ensure every event is a complete success • You plan and organize our monthly pop-up stores from the initial idea to successful completion • You scout exciting locations and coordinate all preparations around logistics, materials and processes • You are regularly on site and ensure every event runs smoothly • You coordinate our promoters and event teams and motivate them to give their best every day • You analyze our pop-ups and develop new ideas with the team to make each event even more successful • You bring Funzy to places where families spend time — for example family cafés, family hotels or family events • You support the development of new partnerships and successfully implement joint activities • Together with our marketing team you develop creative offline experiences that excite families

Job Requirements

  • You have previous experience in events, retail, promotion, hospitality, store management or a similar environment
  • You enjoy organizing and keep an overview even when many things are happening at once
  • You enjoy being around people and can enthuse customers and partners with your open manner
  • You are pragmatic, solution-oriented and prefer to pitch in rather than coordinate only from a desk
  • You work independently and take responsibility
  • You love variety and enjoy being on the road
  • Approximately 40–50% of your working time is spent traveling within the DACH region
  • You speak fluent German and very good English

Role Description This is a mid to senior-level, permanent, full-time position based in the United States. Working as part of VALD's global marketing team, you will support the execution and optimization of digital marketing initiatives across paid media, campaigns, content and digital channels. You will work closely with the Marketing Manager and wider team to help drive awareness, engagement and lead generation across our brands. Working as part of our passionate marketing team, you will: - Industry Conferences, Exhibitions and Workshops: - Coordinate VALD attendance at industry conferences, exhibitions and workshops. - Work closely with Business Development Managers and regional teams. - Manage registrations, travel and accommodation. - Coordinate booth logistics, shipping, merchandise and marketing collateral. - Liaise with venues, suppliers and event organizers. - VALD Owned Events: - Coordinate delivery of VALD-owned events, and other regional events and workshops. - Source venues, speakers, suppliers, catering and production partners. - Coordinate attendee communications and registrations. - Track budgets, timelines and project milestones. - Coordinate between HQ marketing and regional stakeholders. - Support on-site execution and post-event analysis. - Regional Marketing Support: - Support regional Business Development teams with local marketing initiatives. - Coordinate projects between regional stakeholders and VALD's global marketing team. - Assist with regional campaign execution. - Coordinate marketing assets, merchandise and promotional materials. - Support content, social media, community and partner marketing activities. - Maintain project timelines and communicate progress to stakeholders. - Assist with internal and external communications. Qualifications - 3-5+ years' experience in events, marketing and project coordination or a related role. - Experience coordinating conferences, workshops and large-scale events. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Strong organizational and project management capability. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Comfortable working across multiple time zones. - Willingness to travel regularly throughout North America.
