• Provide leadership and guidance to a small (7 team members), dynamic sales team, setting clear objectives and strategies to achieve sales targets and hold the team accountable to outcomes • Develop training programs and resources to enhance the skills and knowledge of their sales team, ensuring they are equipped to effectively pitch the platform and close deals. • Track sales metrics and KPIs, analyzing performance data to identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary. • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including reaching out to potential clients, real estate agents, and property developers in specific markets as needed. • Prepare regular reports and updates on sales performance, pipeline status, and market insights for senior management and stakeholders. • Continuously seek ways to optimize sales processes, improve customer experience, and enhance the overall effectiveness of the sales function within the real estate marketplace startup. • Able to build sales assets and processes needed to achieve the sale.
Job Requirements
- Sales Management Experience: Demonstrated success in leading a high-performance sales team, preferably within the real estate industry, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities to inspire and motivate a sales team, provide guidance, and foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute sales strategies aligned with PadSplit’s business objectives, including host acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey the value proposition of PadSplit to clients, stakeholders, and team members in a remote environment.
- Negotiation Skills: Proficiency in negotiation techniques to secure partnerships, agreements, and favorable terms with clients, real estate agents, and other industry partners.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical skills to analyze sales data, track performance metrics, and identify insights to inform decision-making and optimize sales processes.
- Adaptability: Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, where priorities and strategies may evolve rapidly in response to market dynamics.
