• Contribute heavily to an ongoing LAMP modernization project upgrading from PHP 5.6 to 8, MariaDB to Galera Cluster, and Virtual Machines to Kubernetes environments using Helm charts. • Design, deploy, and manage performant, scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure to host SaaS products. • Develop and maintain processes for cloud resource provisioning, configuration, and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible, as well as scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, and Python. • Collaborate crossfunctionally with Engineering and IT personnel to optimize application deployment and performance, integrating IaC practices into the CI/CD pipeline using GitHub Actions. • Document technical procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for networks, systems, and devices.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or DevOps in a SaaS or technology-first company
- Strong background in cloud technologies: GCP, AWS, or Azure (preferred)
- Experience with automation and infrastructure as code software (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
- Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Docker Desktop, Kubernetes)
- Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Windows as well has UNIX / Linux based systems
- Experience in the administration of several application technology stacks (e.g., IIS, NGINX, .NET, PHP, SQL, MySQL)
- Networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP, VPN)
- Security scanning tools knowledge (e.g. Snyk, Tenable, Qualys)
