• Conduct detailed financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for AWS cloud expenditures. • Lead the cost evaluation process for requests for additional AWS resources, including compute, storage, networking, and managed services, working closely with system owners, architects, and engineers to validate requirements, assess technical feasibility, develop cost estimates, and recommend cost-effective solutions. • Leverage AWS-native and third-party FinOps tools to identify and implement cloud cost optimization opportunities. • Analyze AWS resource utilization and consumption trends to develop recommendations for rightsizing, Savings Plans, Reserved Instances, and storage optimization. • Provide cloud cost insights, spending trends, financial reporting, and optimization recommendations to leadership and stakeholders. • Support and mature the organization's FinOps practice, fostering accountability and awareness for cloud consumption. • Develop and maintain cloud cost allocation models, tagging standards, system-owner chargeback processes, budgeting controls, and governance practices. • Collaborate with AWS representatives and vendors to optimize service utilization and maximize cost savings opportunities. • Monitor emerging AWS services, FinOps capabilities, and industry best practices to continuously improve cloud financial operations.
• Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat, etc.) in both physical and virtual environments. • Perform regular system updates, patch management, and kernel upgrades. • Deploy, configure, and manage Linux-based infrastructure in AWS, Azure, OCI, and GCP. • Utilize cloud-native tools and services for monitoring, scaling, and automating Linux workloads • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Python, and other relevant scripting languages. • Utilize configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef) to automate provisioning and configuration of Linux systems. • Implement and manage monitoring solutions to ensure high availability and performance of Linux systems. • Perform performance tuning and optimization of Linux servers and applications. • Ensure systems comply with organizational and industry security standards. • Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and implement remediation strategies. • Perform vulnerability remediation and hardening of servers using DISA STIGs (Security Technical Implementation Guides). • Implement and manage backup and recovery solutions for Linux environments. • Perform regular testing of backup and disaster recovery processes. • Work closely with security teams to support application deployment and troubleshooting. • Provide Tier 2/3 support for Linux-related incidents and service requests. • Participate in on-call rotations
• Design and develop System Test Automation Scripts using Selenium web driver, Jest , Cucumber, API testing (for e.g. RestAssured/Karate) and experience in using Selenium Javascript APIs • Support Test Automation Solution Planning and Estimation. Analyze current architecture and test platforms to formulate a vision for growth and expansion. • Perform detailed test designs using sound software test engineering principals in the context of test automation platforms and integration across distributed systems • Collaboratively elaborate requirements to enable Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) with BAs and developers • Perform tasks required for automated test implementation including review acceptance criteria (Gherkin scripts), create integration/regression test scenarios, test cases, implement test data management strategy, and generate required reports. • Improve existing test automation frameworks (i.e. make them faster, more flexible and easier to use). Utilize parallel processing or grid systems to speed up the tests • Gather non-functional performance requirements, analyze and strategize the performance test approach • Build performance testing frameworks that can be leveraged by development teams and QA teams to do their performance testing • Hands-on script development using JMeter or Gatling or other open source tools • Measure various aspect of the system performance, including throughput, response times, resource usage such as CPU, memory, thread utilization and IO statistics. • Ability to work closely with Application Development and DevOps teams to identify, troubleshoot and debug performance issues
