Role Description We are seeking a Senior SAP S/4HANA Solution Architect – Procure to Pay (P2P) to own the end-to-end design and architecture of Slate’s procurement and supplier management processes as part of the company’s migration from NetSuite to SAP S/4HANA. - Reporting to Slate’s Head of ERP Systems, this role serves as the internal counterpart to our implementation partner’s Solution Architect. - Accountable for establishing the long-term SAP Procure-to-Pay design strategy. - Lead the architecture, configuration direction, and process design for: - SAP Materials Management (MM) - Procurement - Inventory Management - Logistics Invoice Verification - Supplier Master Data - Integration points with Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Warehouse operations. - Ensure that SAP design decisions support operational scalability, strong financial controls, and efficient procurement execution across the enterprise. - This is a permanent product team role, not a project-based assignment. - Help launch the initial SAP S/4HANA platform and own the ongoing evolution of Procure-to-Pay capabilities for years to come. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. - 10+ years of SAP MM experience, including multiple full lifecycle SAP implementations. - 3+ years of SAP S/4HANA solution architecture experience. - Experience with SAP S/4HANA Green field implementation or transformation programs. - Strong understanding of procurement and supply chain business processes. - A clear, defensible point of view on clean-core and fit-to-standard design. - Experience writing functional specifications, leading finance-side user acceptance testing, and partnering with implementation partners and IT through go-live and stabilization. - Familiarity with SOX requirements for finance systems, ideally in a pre-IPO or recently public-company environment. - Comfortable in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment building a system rather than maintaining one.
