Business Development Representative

BusRight

• Generate net-new, qualified pipeline through outbound prospecting and inbound lead follow-up • Engage Transportation Directors and district stakeholders through consultative outreach and discovery to uncover district needs, priorities, and buying intent. • Qualify opportunities using BANT to ensure pipeline quality and partner closely with Account Executives on account strategy, multi-threading, and handoffs. • Collaborate with Marketing on campaign follow-up, event outreach, and aircover initiatives • Represent BusRight both on virtual and occasional in-person conferences or district events • Maintain accurate CRM data to support forecasting, reporting, and pipeline hygiene • Participate in call coaching, role plays, and enablement as part of a high-performing sales culture

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a BDR/SDR, ideally in outbound or complex selling environments
  • Proven ability to generate and qualify pipeline through consultative conversations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a confident, professional presence
  • Comfort handling objections and uncovering real buyer pain, urgency, and intent
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with Account Executives and Marketing
  • Strong organizational skills and disciplined use of CRM and sales outreach tools (Salesforce preferred)
  • Coachable, curious, and motivated to grow in a fast-moving environment
  • Experience selling into K-12, public sector, or multi-stakeholder buying environments is a plus
  • Role Requirements
  • Fully remote role (U.S. based)
  • Ability to maintain a professional, on-camera remote work environment
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for conferences, events, or team offsites

We are looking for a passionate VOLUNTEER who takes a methodological approach to their work, conducts independent research and analysis, engages with key stakeholders and establishes strategic partnerships to progress the BCI’s core mission.   The Head of Standards Development plays a critical role in shaping and advancing standards within the Emerging Technologies Division (ETD). This position involves strategic leadership, collaboration with stakeholders, and driving innovation through standardisation. The successful candidate will contribute to the growth and impact of emerging technologies by ensuring effective standards development and implementation. It is a very senior position reporting to the CTO, collaborating closely with the Director of Legal Research (DRS3).
