Senior Manager, Technology CAAS

• Oversees the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and US GAAP compliance • Reviews consolidated financials, including multi-entity and multi-department reporting, and ensures consistency across reporting structures • Establishes close processes, timelines, and quality standards across client portfolios • Evaluates financial results, variance drivers, and key performance indicators to ensure alignment with business expectations • Provides oversight of core accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing cycles • Designs and implements scalable accounting processes and operating models to support client growth • Monitors operational performance and identifies opportunities for efficiency, automation, and system optimization • Ensures appropriate accounting treatment, chart of accounts structure, and system configuration across engagements • Serves as a senior advisor to client leadership (CEOs, CFOs, founders), providing strategic financial insight and guidance • Translates financial results into clear, actionable narratives, including cash flow trends, operational performance, and growth implications
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA, CMA, CGMA strongly preferred
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting, corporate accounting, or outsourced/client accounting services
- Demonstrated experience leading accounting operations and financial reporting functions at a controller or equivalent level
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, including revenue recognition and complex accounting areas
- Experience overseeing multi-entity, multi-system, or high-growth environments
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams, with a strong focus on quality and accountability
- Advanced proficiency in financial systems (e.g. NetSuite, QBO, Xero, AI-native finance tools) and reporting tools
- Experience with system implementations, process optimization, and scaling accounting functions
- Strong executive communication skills, with the ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders
- Experience in eCommerce, technology, or inventory-based businesses preferred
