• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using technologies such as Java, Java EE, Java 17, Spring, Node.js/TypeScript, React, Angular, Python, Django, Flask, and FastAPI. • Develop responsive user interfaces with a focus on performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility. • Build and maintain server-side applications, RESTful APIs, microservices, and enterprise integrations. • Design and implement data solutions using relational and non-relational databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB. • Develop event-driven architectures and cloud-native applications to support enterprise-scale systems. • Integrate AI and Large Language Model (LLM) capabilities using platforms and APIs such as OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, and Claude. • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend tools, frameworks, and architectures to improve application capabilities. • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues while maintaining high-quality coding standards. • Participate in Agile development activities, including sprint planning, technical design discussions, development, testing, and deployments. • Develop automated tests and support quality assurance efforts using tools such as Cypress and Playwright. • Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities while following secure software development practices. • Collaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver reliable software solutions. • Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and ensure the success of the project.

• Design, build, and deploy AI agents using the Claude SDK to automate operational workflows • Integrate AI agents with internal tools such as Jira and Slack, and with third-party APIs • Collaborate with senior engineers and product stakeholders to scope and iterate on agent capabilities • Write clean, well-tested, well-documented code • Leverage AI coding tools (Claude, Cursor, Codex, Gemini, etc.) throughout the development lifecycle • Monitor, debug, and improve agent reliability and performance in production • Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices

• Design, build, and deploy software systems that optimize renewable and battery storage operations. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning and optimization models. • Own the full software development lifecycle from architecture and design to implementation and maintenance. • Ensure production systems are scalable, reliable, and high-performing. • Diagnose bottlenecks, resolve real-time issues, and continuously improve system performance and monitoring/alerting. • Stay current on trends in software engineering, renewable energy, and grid technology to drive innovation.

• Lead and manage a small team of development engineers, acting as a player/coach to mentor and contribute technically. • Be the internal technical expert on Skimmer's newest systems • Drive the replatforming of existing features to be AI-first and interactive for our pros and their customers • Utilize AI tools and best practices to maximize the productivity and efficiency of your development team. • Work with our integrations team wherever possible in order to have a seamless customer experience.
