Due to team location, we need candidates to be in EST or CST area. The Corporate Development Analyst will play a key role in supporting the company’s acquisitive growth strategy. Reporting to the Corporate Development Integration Director, this individual will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to provide project management and support through the acquisition lifecycle. The role requires strong project management skills, attention to detail and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. In this role, you will: - Enable the smooth management of acquisitions and support the Corporate Development team with the coordination of due diligence and integration activities. This may involve multiple projects simultaneously. - Support diligence from initial evaluation through signing and close: - Engage effectively with cross-functional teams (such as Finance, HR, IT, Legal, Product, Sales, etc.) to support the scoping of diligence requests/workstreams, identifying key risks/value drivers and ensuring alignment on priorities & timelines - Organize & maintain comprehensive diligence trackers and data request lists to ensure issues are surfaced, documented and escalated appropriately - Coordinate diligence working sessions and management meetings, including preparation of focused agendas and driving follow-up on open items - Synthesize cross-functional findings into clear executive-ready summaries that highlight material risks, mitigation strategies and key assumptions - Help develop materials for M&A Committee and Board of Directors discussions - Monitor the overall diligence progress to ensure deliverables are completed on schedule - Support integration from pre-close planning through the first 100 Days post-close and beyond: - Engage effectively with cross-functional teams (such as HR, Finance, IT, Legal, Corporate Marketing, Business Unit leaders, etc.) to assist in identifying risks or issues, maintain and communicate project risk and issue lists, and work with Corp Dev leaders to develop mitigation plans - Organize key project meetings, maintain deal-specific project plans and serve as a liaison with cross functional M&A team to ensure timely progress updates are provided and accurately reported on - Help manage integration cadences and working sessions, including the preparation of clear, objective-oriented agendas, capturing useful meeting notes, and action item tracking & follow-up - Use project management skills to bring discipline and a greater level of rigor to the management of Progress’s M&A projects, framework and tools, including the utilization of different software and AI tools - Support Corporate Development and cross-functional teams in updating and continuously improving its M&A Playbook - Assist in maintaining and enhancing diligence and integration templates through clear and accurate understanding of existing processes, identifying new processes to be implemented, and aligning across different teams and functions - Collect responses to deal surveys and summarize findings to help the Corporate Development team improve and enhance Progress’ M&A process by turning lessons learned into repeatable and scalable processes - Maintain the Corp Dev SharePoint site for both live and past deals, ensuring thorough organization of materials from executed NDA’ and LOI’s to diligence readout reports to executed Definitive Agreements - Collaborate with Corporate Development team to ensure diligence timeline is adhered to and integration milestones are met - Collaborate with global, cross-functional teams Your background: - 4+ years’ experience in Project Management of complex, deadline driven, high visibility projects. Consulting, Corporate Development, or other relevant experience a plus - Excellent verbal and written communication and relationship-building skills - Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills - Exceptional time management and task prioritization abilities - Demonstrated success in basic data analysis skills - Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint; efficient user of, or strong interest in learning, appropriate AI tools - Knowledge of project management tools and significant experience managing multiple projects to deadlines, holding others accountable, and maintaining project plans with dependent efforts and major milestones - Ability to work within and drive others to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Enjoy working with global cross-functional teams, internal stakeholders, and external vendors - Self-starter with a strong desire to learn and develop, with a keen interest in developing broader skills to conduct other Corporate Development functions such as the integration, diligence and sourcing of acquisitions - Experience with due diligence or integration in M&A, nice to have - Ability to travel as needed approximately 5-10% Base Salary Range: $101,320 - $125,160 This position is also eligible to participate in our performance-based annual corporate bonus plan. Final base compensation is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, education, demonstrable experience, and allowance for future and continued salary growth. Project Manager – Incident Response
