Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack – Agentic Trading
Coinbase
• Own end-to-end full-stack development for Coinbase Advisor's agentic trading surfaces, delivering production-ready UI across web and React Native mobile as well as the Go backend services that power real-time AI and trading features • Build real-time, interactive interfaces for AI-driven trade recommendations, portfolio insights, and autonomous execution flows, ensuring sub-second responsiveness and visual clarity • Partner with AI/ML, backend, design, and product teams to define and ship new agentic trading features from concept through launch • Drive architecture decisions for the Advisor product area, establishing patterns for streaming AI responses, real-time market data rendering, and stateful conversational UX • Lead code quality standards through rigorous code reviews, testing strategies, and performance optimization across the Advisor full-stack
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of professional full-stack engineering experience shipping consumer-facing web and/or mobile products at scale, with deep proficiency in React/TypeScript or backend systems (Go preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to own architecture for a product area, including state management, API integration patterns, and performance optimization that measurably improved latency or reliability
- Experience integrating AI or ML-powered features into user-facing products, including streaming responses, agentic workflows, or conversational interfaces
- Proven track record independently driving projects from zero to production, owning both product and technical decisions, and delivering outcomes with minimal oversight
- Familiarity with crypto, financial products, or trading platforms
- Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
