• Own the complete Reporting function. • Lead the Data & Reporting team with end-to-end ownership. • Review technical solutions before delivery. • Guide team members and establish coding and reporting standards. • Prioritize work based on business impact. • Develop a strong understanding of business workflows and data across multiple modules. • Understand how data flows between different systems. • Identify downstream reporting impacts whenever application changes occur. • Work closely with Engineering Leads, QA, Product and Business teams. • Independently interact with Client Account Managers and business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements. • Provide timely updates, communicate risks and manage stakeholder expectations. • Analyze incoming requests and perform effort estimation.
Job Requirements
- 8–12+ years of experience in Data & Reporting.
- Prior experience leading a reporting or BI team.
- Experience working directly with enterprise clients.
- Strong hands-on expertise in SQL with ability to write, optimize and review complex queries.
- Experience with SSRS report development and maintenance.
- Experience in Power BI dashboards and reporting.
- Good understanding of Azure Functions and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Strong understanding of relational databases, data models and reporting architecture.
- Ability to troubleshoot data discrepancies and perform root cause analysis.
- Experience working with large transactional datasets.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in Agile delivery environments.

Role Description We’re looking for a hands-on Manager who can support and lead important work across the DPO Office and the wider bank. You’ll turn broad goals into clear plans, work through complex and ambiguous problems, and deliver improvements with pace, structure and good judgement. This is an individual contributor role in a small and mighty team with high standards and a practical, proportionate way of working. You’ll provide advice, oversight and challenge, build trusted relationships across Monzo, and help improve how the Global DPO Office operates as we scale.
