Partnership Manager
Leafwell
• Acquire new partners: Proactively source, pitch, and secure new dispensary partnerships. • Expand in-network footprint: Drive growth of Leafwell’s dispensary base across key markets. • Fuel patient acquisition: Structure partnerships that increase patient awareness, education, and onboarding. • Build relationships with decision-makers: Engage dispensary owners, operators, and key stakeholders with a clear value proposition. • Track and report results: Maintain accurate CRM records, monitor partnership performance, and report progress against KPIs (new partners + whale/dolphin/minnow status). • Stay industry-savvy: Keep ahead of cannabis market trends, competitor strategies, and regulatory shifts to identify opportunities. • Travel to meet with dispensary partners, attend industry events, and strengthen local relationships.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales (cannabis industry experience strongly preferred).
- Demonstrated success in closing partnerships and consistently meeting or exceeding goals.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Genuine passion for Leafwell’s mission: making cannabis more accessible, understood, and integrated into healthcare.
- Established network within the cannabis ecosystem (dispensaries, MSOs, brands).
- Experience structuring and negotiating complex deals.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to scale partnerships into “whale” accounts.
- Proficiency with Google Suite and project management tools.

Role Description As the National Sales Account Manager at Skylight, you will play a pivotal role in managing and expanding our footprint at Walmart and Sam’s Club, our top strategic partners. Qualifications - 3–5 years of major account management experience, with direct ownership of Walmart relationship (required). - You thrive in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment where priorities shift, decisions matter, and there’s no one hiding behind process. - Strong strategic planning + execution muscle — you can build a plan, pressure-test it, and turn it into revenue-generating action. - Exceptional relationship builder and communicator, comfortable working with senior retail partners and cross-functional internal teams (Ops, Finance, CS, Marketing). - Deep experience using retail and operational data to drive decisions, including forecasting, inventory management, and performance analysis (e.g., Retail Link, Circana, 3PL systems, Connect, Google Sheets). - You are fluent in translating customer-specific data into clear recommendations and tradeoffs. - You can balance the customer’s needs with Skylight’s goals, and you’re comfortable saying no (or proposing alternatives) when the tradeoff isn’t right. - You are a clear, concise communicator who can simplify the what, why, and how for different audiences. - You take full ownership of your accounts — outcomes, not activity, are the bar.
