Remote
• Manage and resolve end-to-end employee exits across multiple international jurisdictions, prioritizing a superior offboarding experience for Remote's clients and their employees. • Provide sound guidance and manage clients' requests on various HR matters, including but not limited to termination, resignation and transfer procedures, employment contracts, and redundancy processes, ensuring legal compliance and best practices. • Lead and facilitate meetings with clients and external employees, including but not limited to workforce reduction consultation meetings, administrative hearings, negotiations in separations and settlements, providing guidance on terminations, and delivering termination outcomes. • Influence and negotiate positive outcomes in complex terminations, balancing multiple stakeholders with competing interests. • Liaise with and coordinate various internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance in offboarding activities and audits, including but not limited to payroll, legal counsel, government bodies, and trade unions. • Draft, tailor and administer all termination and supplementary documents with accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring employee records are maintained with strict adherence to privacy and confidentiality regulations. • Process offboarding on Remote's internal HRIS platform, collaborating with various internal stakeholders, such as Customer Success, Legal, Payroll, Benefits, Time and Attendance, amongst other verticals, to ensure all aspects of the employee exit are administered correctly and promptly. • Be the subject-matter expert and respond to internal and external queries on all offboarding matters in conjunction with Lifecycle's internal stakeholders. • Navigate clients through Remote's Employee Relations resources and guides, helping them understand applicable policies and processes. • Conduct preliminary assessment of workplace concerns, identifying key facts and applicable local regulations. • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure appropriate handling of employee relations matters. • Support clients in understanding progressive disciplinary approaches and documentation requirements. • Monitor ongoing employee relations cases, ensuring timely follow-up and coordination with relevant stakeholders. • Actively identify opportunities for and contribute to process improvements, automation, product development and overall customer and employee experience through the offboarding and employee relations processes.
Job Requirements
- Experience as a HR Advisor or HR Business Partner, with generalist HR competencies and exposure across the employee lifecycle.
- Proven experience with a strong background in managing voluntary and involuntary exits (terminations) with care, sensitivity and legal compliance; and providing comprehensive HR support and guidance on employment laws and regulations, spanning various jurisdictions.
- Ability to interpret and apply industrial instruments, analyze complex HR issues, undertake research, provide practical solutions and effectively communicate recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders when operating in ambiguous and unfamiliar environments.
- Basic understanding of employee relations principles, progressive discipline approaches, and workplace investigation fundamentals.
- Excellent communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation skills, with the ability to confidently lead difficult conversations to a positive outcome, often where parties have conflicting interests, maintaining professionalism and strict confidentiality.
- Business-level (advanced) proficiency in written and spoken English, with additional languages considered a plus.
- Aptitude and appetite to innovate and optimize processes, continuously identifying and implementing opportunities for automation and championing best practices.

Your responsibilities will include: - Lead and execute the HR communications editorial operating model, including planning cadence, intake, governance, content prioritization and measurement, in alignment with enterprise editorial standards. - Partner with the broader HR communications team to build and manage an integrated HR content calendar that translates HR strategic priorities, annual processes, engagement moments, culture initiatives and recognition communications into a regular pipeline of employee-facing content, aligned to the broader HR channel strategy and appropriate enterprise channel opportunities. - Apply AI tools and responsible AI practices to enhance content development, personalization, editorial planning, audience insights, workflow efficiency and performance analysis. - Use data, employee insights, channel analytics and communications trends to assess performance, identify opportunities and improve content relevance, reach and impact. - Develop scalable templates, toolkits, workflows and content practices that improve quality, consistency and speed across HR communications. - Serve as a trusted advisor to HR leaders and cross-functional partners on content strategy, messaging, audience needs, channel effectiveness and creative storytelling. - Partner with Global Communications and enterprise editorial/corporate reputation teams to align HR communications with broader enterprise priorities. Required Qualifications: - Minimum of 7 years of experience in employee, internal, HR or corporate communications, content strategy or a related field. - Bachelor’s degree in corporate communications, journalism, marketing or related discipline, with demonstrated editorial management experience. - Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills, with strong editorial judgment and the ability to translate complex or sensitive information into clear, actionable communications. - Experience in managing multiple communications priorities, coordinating stakeholders and delivering high-quality work within established timelines. - Experience using data, employee insights, channel analytics and stakeholder feedback to inform strategy, optimize content and measure engagement. - Familiarity with AI-enabled content tools and responsible AI practices, with the ability to use AI to improve drafting, editing, personalization, message testing, workflow efficiency, content planning and performance analysis. - Demonstrated creativity and innovation in communications, including experience developing campaign concepts, storytelling formats, content series, toolkits or engagement tactics that increase relevance, participation and employee connection. - Excellent collaborator who is enthusiastic about joining a growing team and bringing forward fresh, innovative ideas and insights. Preferred Qualifications - Strong project and program management capability, including experience building project plans, managing cross-functional workstreams, clarifying roles and responsibilities and driving work from strategy through execution. - Strong understanding of HR programs, employee experience, organizational change, culture, engagement and annual HR processes. - Experience developing communications for global environments, with attention to accessibility, inclusive language, localization needs and appropriate review processes.
