Role Description We're seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer to lead air permitting and environmental compliance for edge and large-scale data center projects. This role combines regulatory permitting expertise with environmental compliance to keep development timelines on track while meeting all state and federal requirements for Edged Datacenters in the United States. - Manage air permitting processes for data center facilities, including permits for backup generators, emergency engines, and related emission sources. - Prepare and submit permit applications to state and federal agencies; track through approval. - Lead environmental permitting for new site development, from initial site assessment through permit issuance. - Oversee and manage third-party consultants and contractors performing permitting work, ensuring quality, accuracy, and on-time submittals. - Ensure ongoing compliance with air, water, and waste regulations across project lifecycle. - Support field operations during construction and commissioning to maintain environmental compliance. - Support environmental compliance audits and manage corrective actions. - Coordinate wildlife, water, and waste management requirements as needed for site development. - Interface with regulators, project managers, and contractors. Qualifications - Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering or related field. - 10+ years of environmental compliance experience, ideally in energy, oil & gas, or infrastructure. - Demonstrated air permitting expertise (Title V, minor source, PSD/NSR familiarity a plus). - Working knowledge of state and federal waste, water, and air regulations. - Field experience supporting operations and compliance. - Strong background in compliance auditing. - Experience managing outside consultants or contractors on permitting deliverables and environmental compliance. - Ability to manage multiple permits and deadlines across sites. Role Description The role of the Technical Service Engineer / Plastics Engineer is to provide commercial technical support at existing and targeted customers. This position requires interaction with a variety of customers, suppliers, agencies, testing facilities, as well as with various personnel within the Ravago organization. This position will cover the South Region. - Hands-on Processing assistance and/or troubleshooting processes (injection, extrusion, blow-molding) - Answering a variety of plastics related questions on material properties, processing, equipment, testing, etc. - Application review/material selection - Mold design review - Attending customer meetings as the ‘technical expert’ - Presenting technical workshops - Providing general support for technical questions, requests for technical literature, material properties or other technical documents. - Assisting with determining the cause of part failures - Specification approval assistance - Work on projects such as developing technical presentations, competitive offset lists; assisting Business Development Managers with special projects, etc. - Participating in conference calls with customers on technical discussions - Provide Technical support during processing trials. - Write Technical report of trials and or customer projects. - Write visit reports to document their visits and disseminate information as well as to help the rest of the Technology Group learn from them. Role Description The Packaging Engineer Role is dedicated to the design, development, and lifecycle management of flexible sterile barrier systems. This role combines hands-on laboratory expertise with direct customer engagement to support product design and development, defect investigations, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. The position serves as a key technical interface between customers, Sales, Quality, Operations, R&D, and global Oliver sites. Primary Responsibilities - Commercial Support - Provide material selection guidance and product recommendations aligned with customer design requirements. - Support packaging design consultation and develop packaging design concepts and prototypes for CleanCut Card, Pouch, and Tray based packaging systems. - Lead defect analysis investigations and provide corrective action recommendations. - Deliver regulatory education and consultation related to ISO 11607 and sterile barrier systems. - Develop and deliver technical training materials to support customer engagement and understanding. - Utilize CRM systems to track and manage customer technical requests and project activity. - Partner with Marketing on technically driven initiatives to support growth. - Contribute to the development and refinement of technical marketing materials (e.g., product data sheets, comparison tools, and reference guides). - Laboratory Operations & Technical Testing - Operate and manage a packaging test laboratory within the Costa Rica Technical Center. - Perform packaging testing, material characterization, and analytical testing to support customers in the region. - Develop, maintain, and execute laboratory procedures in alignment with ISO, ASTM, and industry standards. - Design and implement custom test methods when required. - Maintain laboratory equipment, calibration schedules, and workspace organization. - Utilize and improve lab management software platforms to prioritize, schedule, and track lab activities. - Technical Investigation & Continuous Improvement - Lead data analysis and technical investigations related to product performance. - Analyze trends in product performance and field data. - Identify opportunities for process optimization and capability enhancement. - Support specification development and change management initiatives. - Operations, Quality Assurance and Supply Chain support - Provide technical support for customer complaints and CAPA investigations across multiple production sites. - Analyze test data and field performance trends to identify opportunities for product design improvements. - Collaborate with Process Engineering and Quality Assurance teams to support product evaluations and validations. - Partner with the Product Specifications Team to develop and maintain specifications that align with internal standards and customer expectations. - Support supplier qualification, change control, and supplier CAPA processes, including technical evaluations and written summaries for customer communication. - Safety - Work with the EHS Department to ensure that test lab facility, equipment and procedures comply with Oliver’s standard regulatory requirements. - Ensure that all potentially hazardous materials in lab and testing areas are properly stored and labeled. - Ensure all new materials and testing procedures are evaluated for potential safety risks. Qualifications - Degree in Packaging Engineering, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field. - 3+ years of relevant experience in packaging engineering or similar discipline. - Strong understanding of sterile barrier systems and flexible packaging design. - Working knowledge of ISO 11607, ISO 13485, and applicable ASTM standards. - Familiarity with flexible packaging converting and sealing equipment. - Experience applying quality and statistical tools such as DFMEA, DOE, Gauge R&R, SPC, and Process Capability. - Skilled using statistical and analysis tools such as Excel and MiniTab. - Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with demonstrated data interpretation skills. - Ability to read and interpret technical standards, scientific documentation, and regulatory requirements. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Fluency in English and Spanish. - Ability to present technical information clearly to internal and external stakeholders. - Effective collaboration with international Oliver technical services teams to troubleshoot issues and support global customers. - Self-motivated and capable of working independently. - Organized and detail-oriented with strong project ownership.
