Role Description GFT is seeking an experienced Substation P & C Designer to join our expanding Power Group. This is a remote position. This experienced designer will be responsible for the protection and control design of high voltage substation projects up to 765kV. In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following: - Design and execution of high-voltage substations projects in the 4kV – 765kV range with an emphasis on project safety, cost, quality, and reliability. - Generate designs and detailed engineering deliverables working under the supervision of lead engineer and project manager. - Complete basic engineering calculations related to design/engineering deliverables. - Develop one & three line diagrams; schematics and wiring diagrams; control and relay panel layout and specifications; control and relay panel and equipment wiring diagrams; SCADA system and communications interfaces including RTUs, HMIs and IEDs; auxiliary system design including batteries and chargers. - Compile complete list of relay and control materials for substation projects, and quote/order materials as necessary per contractual agreements with customers. - Follow specific instructions of supervisor or engineers to perform the more complex design assignments requiring application of standard design principles and practices. - Investigate new and existing substation technical drawings and conditions to ensure that installation and operations conform to industry standards and customer requirements. - Travel to job sites for project assessment and data gathering as needed. - Communicate and interact with clients. - Perform quality reviews of projects completed by peers. Qualifications - 2+ years of relevant substation or general electrical T&D designing experience. - Knowledge and ability to utilize computer-aided drafting including AutoCAD & MicroStation. - Familiar knowledge of the following codes: National Electrical Safety Code (NESC), National Electrical Code (NEC) and Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). - Knowledge of substation voltages, MV, HV, EHV. - Ability to apply project schedules to complete tasks in a timely manner and within project budget. - Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. - Ability to review project documents and recommend value engineering ideas. - Ability to proficiently use Microsoft office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.). Requirements - Experience in the energy industry or a consulting services environment. - Thorough knowledge of the following codes: National Electrical Safety Code (NESC), National Electrical Code (NEC) and Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). • Develop and evolve the company’s corporate visual identity and brand guidelines. • Design high-impact pitch decks, proposals, brochures, and sales collaterals. • Translate complex ERP/SaaS concepts into clear, compelling visual narratives. • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing and corporate communication. • Collaborate with leadership, sales, and marketing teams to align design with business strategy.

• Create static, motion, and mixed-media assets for social platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, X, and YouTube. • Translate platform trends into visual content ideas and executions. • Design graphics, layouts, typography treatments, and digital assets optimized for each platform’s behavior and audience expectations. • Execute and adapt content for evergreen, reactive, seasonal, and campaign-level work. • Collaborate with Art Directors, Copywriters, and Creative leadership to bring concepts to life visually. • Support ideation for social-first creative, participating in brainstorms and contributing visual references, mocks, and storyboards. • Work with Content & Engagement teams to ensure visuals align with tone, narrative, and publishing needs. • Create simple motion graphics, animated text treatments, or platform-native motion as needed (After Effects experience preferred). • Prepare production-ready files, layered assets, and editable templates to support video editors and cross-functional creative workflows. • Design clear, visually compelling presentation decks for creative reviews, client presentations, and internal alignment. • Communicate design decisions and rationale effectively with creative and cross-functional partners. • Ensure all outputs meet high standards of accuracy, clarity, resolution, and brand alignment. • Maintain organized working files, asset libraries, and version control best practices. • Deliver final assets in correct formats, crops, and dimensions according to platform and project requirements.

• Create and develop trade marketing materials, including POS materials, displays, banners, shelf banners, posters, totems, signage and in-store collateral. • Develop key visuals and creative extensions for commercial campaigns, seasonal promotions and product launches. • Adapt layouts for different formats, channels and partners (retail and wholesale), ensuring visual consistency. • Collaborate with Marketing, Commercial and Trade teams to understand objectives, target audiences and campaign requirements. • Prepare final print-ready files and, when necessary, coordinate technical adjustments with suppliers. • Organize and maintain libraries of files, templates and trade marketing visual standards. • Ensure all materials comply with the brand book and the brand's visual guidelines.
