Role Description At Ultimate Jet Vacations, we don't believe data should sit inside dashboards waiting to be discovered. We're looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst who can transform complex commercial data into clear, actionable insights that help our leaders make faster and smarter decisions. This isn't a report-building role. It's a strategic business partner role. You'll work closely with our Head of Commercial Strategy and department leaders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to uncover trends, identify opportunities, challenge assumptions, and proactively bring insights to the table before anyone asks for them. If you're naturally curious, enjoy solving business problems with data, and love telling the story behind the numbers, we'd love to meet you. Responsibilities - Own and continuously improve our core Tableau dashboards across Sales, Gross Profit, Agent Performance, Regional Performance, Marketing, and Luxury Travel. - Partner with department leaders to review performance, identify trends, uncover opportunities, and translate data into meaningful business conversations. - Proactively identify GP leakage, negative-margin bookings, underperforming agents, operational inefficiencies, and emerging commercial trends, providing recommendations for improvement. - Prepare and maintain the weekly Commercial Reporting package, ensuring leadership has accurate and actionable metrics for strategic meetings. - Maintain the integrity of our commercial data model, Tableau environment, and data dictionary while collaborating closely with the Technology team. - Design thoughtful ad hoc analyses that help answer strategic business questions—not simply produce reports. - Improve data accessibility by empowering department leaders to confidently self-serve key dashboards and metrics. - Research, design, and implement AI-powered analytical solutions using Large Language Models (Claude preferred) to automate repetitive reporting and accelerate decision-making. - Continuously look for opportunities to improve reporting processes, dashboard usability, and overall data quality across the organization. Qualifications - 2-4 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Commercial Analytics, or a similar analytical role. - Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field. - Advanced experience with Tableau. - Strong SQL skills. - Excellent Excel and/or Google Sheets proficiency. - Experience designing dashboards focused on business decision-making rather than simply displaying metrics. - Strong understanding of data modeling and data visualization best practices. - Experience working with AI tools or Large Language Models (Claude preferred). - Ability to communicate complex analytical findings in a clear, simple, and business-friendly way. - Full professional proficiency in English, both written and verbal. Requirements - Experience with Python for data analysis or automation. - Experience with HubSpot reporting. - Experience within the travel, hospitality, or luxury industries. - Experience building AI automations or analytical workflows. Who You Are - You don't wait for someone to ask for a report; you already noticed the trend. - You're naturally curious and love digging beneath the surface to understand why something is happening. - You enjoy partnering with business leaders, asking thoughtful questions, and helping them make better decisions through data. - You see dashboards as conversation starters, not finished products. - You're constantly looking for ways to improve processes, automate repetitive work, and make data easier for everyone to understand. - Most importantly, you care about business outcomes just as much as the numbers behind them. Why You'll Love This Role - You'll work directly with company leadership and have a real impact on commercial strategy. - Instead of spending your days building endless reports, you'll influence decisions across multiple departments, improve how the business uses data, and help shape the future of analytics and AI at Ultimate Jet Vacations. - If you enjoy turning data into action, challenging assumptions, and building solutions that make everyone's job easier, this role is for you. - LatAm-based candidates are welcome to apply. - Candidates located outside the United States will be engaged under an independent contractor agreement. You will be responsible for managing your own social security and taxes in accordance with the regulations of your home country. Please take this into consideration before applying.
