• FutureSearch is looking for exceptional Software Engineers to evaluate and improve state-of-the-art forecasting and agentic LLM web research. • We are an elite team of engineers and researchers at the frontier of AI epistemics. • In a typical month you might ship a product feature in the FutureSearch app, extend the pipelines behind our benchmarks, and work out why an agent pool times out under production load. • You own what you build end to end: design, deployment, monitoring, and the debugging when it misbehaves. • Learning from and contributing to the design and development of TimescaleDB Enterprise, our on-prem deployment and management platform. • Developing core product capabilities under guidance, including: - management consoles and user-facing tooling (React + TypeScript) - backend APIs and services (Go) - deployment workflows and configuration management (Ansible) - operational tooling for production PostgreSQL databases - and customer administration experiences. • Writing tests at every level, from unit tests to automated end-to-end testing against real infrastructure. • Gaining experience in technical decisions across the product lifecycle, balancing speed, maintainability, and customer experience. • Working with senior engineers to understand operational requirements and translate them into pragmatic product solutions. • Implementing new features while learning to improve reliability, usability, and operational simplicity. • Collaborating with Platform Engineering and cross-functional stakeholders across Product, Support, and Sales Engineering. • Supporting the implementation of the long-term product and technical direction of the Enterprise platform. • Learning to operate effectively in ambiguous environments where priorities evolve and engineers are expected to drive clarity. • Leveraging AI tools daily to accelerate development, debugging, and product iteration workflows.
