Job Description

Business Intelligence Analyst

Cherry Hill Programs

• Manage ETLs — Help build, troubleshoot, and maintain ETL processes • Work with SQL & Data Extraction – Work with various departments to understand data structure and schemas, then write and tweak SQL queries and use other methods to ingest data • Create Dashboards & Reports – Use Domo to build easy-to-understand dashboards and visualizations that help stakeholders understand key insights • Mine for insights – With direction, analyze data and trends to find insights and outliers • Validate Data & Ensure Accuracy – Ensure datasets are accurate, complete, and well-structured • Support the BI Platform – Help manage datasets, dashboards, cards and permissions. Assist in troubleshooting issues with users • Document Processes – Keep clear documentation for datasets, ETLs, and lessons learned to help build a knowledge base • Continuously refine, improve and learn – Look for ways to improve workflows and improve efficiency, keeping up with best practices in Domo, data analytics and BI • Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism with sensitive information • Other duties as assigned

  • Basic SQL knowledge (nothing too crazy—just enough to extract data)
  • Experience creating charts and visualizations, communicating complex data intuitively
  • A “big picture” thinker who can take vague questions or problems and translate them into data solutions
  • Self-driven learner who enjoys taking ownership of projects and figuring things out from start to finish
  • Strong communication skills to work with both technical and non-technical teams
  • Meticulous attention to detail and professional skepticism — prove it’s right before you trust it
  • Focus on building for the future — you don’t just aim for a quick fix, you think ahead; designing queries, ETLs and dashboards to be scalable, maintainable and reusable as business needs evolve

  • Experience with Domo
  • Experience building complete dashboards (bonus points for examples).
  • History contributing to documentation/knowledge base (Confluence, etc.).
  • Background in retail sales or tourism - helps in understanding business needs.
  • A knack for automating repetitive tasks (Power Automate, Shortcuts, Workflows, Python, Power Query, etc.)
  • Experience with AI to improve quality/speed of work beyond basic LLM chats (MCPs, skills, Cowork, Code)
  • Superstar (Bonus Skills That Set You Apart)
  • UKG Payroll and/or Cognos experience
  • Scripting languages (Python especially).
  • Experience pulling data from APIs and integrating data sources.
  • Statistical analysis - linear regression, standard deviation
  • AI/ML training for data mining, pattern recognition, predictive modeling
