Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a **Senior Manager, Ag Retail Operations & Customer Excellence** on a permanent basis on our Ag Solutions team. **This position is a remote opportunity with preference for candidates located in Saskatoon, Regina, Calgary or Winnipeg. Preference for candidates within Saskatoon. based across Western Canada. **** In this role, you will drive the future of ag retail as a strategic leader shaping customer experience, digital adoption and data insights, and success across Co-op ag retails. This high-impact role blends strategy and execution to strengthen farmer relationships, unlock commercial value, and deliver a best-in-class customer journey. **What you’ll do:** - Provide strategic leadership and coaching to a high-performing team, through consistent feedback and development. - Foster strong cross-functional alignment with Ag Solutions and Energy teams while building a collaborative, accountable culture focused on performance, engagement, and results. - Drive a sales-focused culture by leading the development and adoption of training, ag retail operational KPIs, and cross-commodity insights—enabling Co-ops to improve performance, identify risks, and execute targeted action plans for continuous improvement. - Lead the development and execution of a holistic farm customer strategy, including segmentation, insights, and a collaborative roadmap with Co-ops to drive growth and engagement. - Own customer experience metrics and insights—leveraging data, research, and feedback to inform continuous improvement and deliver actionable strategies across marketing, agronomy, product, and operations. - Partner with Central Marketing to deliver a strong Co-op Agro brand experience campaigns and own the tradeshow experience while ensuring materials are agronomically sound, locally relevant, and easy for field teams to execute. - Drive a seamless, consistent customer experience by enabling bundled solutions and fostering strong collaboration across sales, marketing, agronomy, digital, and operational teams. - Lead the Digital Ag and Data Insights function to drive adoption and value from AgZone, CRM, and analytics tools—translating data into actionable insights that improve customer outcomes and commercial performance. - Own and manage Marketing and Digital Ag budgets while providing leadership in annual planning, budgeting, and quarterly financial reporting to ensure effective allocation and performance against business goals. **Who you’ll work with:******The Team:** You will work closely with and lead a team consisting of a Commodity Marketing & Events Specialist, Ag Business Performance Leads, Digital Adoption and Data Manager and a Senior Sales Advisor, and will have 5 direct reports. • Lead Co-op Agro private brand (PB) sales enablement by delivering targeted training and coaching to agronomy and sales teams, strengthening product confidence and commercial positioning. • Equip local Co-ops with tools, market insights, and strategies to drive adoption, optimize margins, and enhance sales execution. • Support demand creation and in-field adoption through joint customer engagement, grower events, and collaboration with PB and agronomy teams. • Drive continuous improvement by translating market intelligence, sustainability alignment, and field feedback into stronger PB portfolio performance. • Lead successful PB product launches, ensuring clear agronomic positioning, strong commercial readiness, and confident adoption by Co-op teams. • Drive in-field performance excellence by managing Product Performance Inquiries, supporting issue resolution, and capturing structured post-launch insights to strengthen the PB portfolio. • Provide data-driven insights and actionable feedback to enhance PB execution, close competitive gaps, and strengthen overall portfolio performance. • Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner, contributing to forecasting, budgeting, and continuous improvement of PB growth and positioning. • There will be expected travel of approximately 35-40% annually.
Senior Retail Operations Specialist, Centre Store

• Serve as a strategic commodity subject‑matter expert supporting FCL, Pod teams, and Centre Store Operation Advisors to deliver programs aligned with business goals, growth strategies, and member expectations. • Drive category growth and space optimization by identifying consumer‑relevant opportunities, leading space allocation initiatives, and using data‑driven insights to improve sales, margin, and return on space. • Lead merchandising, marketing, and promotional programs, including POS/POP, signage strategy, CASM feedback, Blackhawk and gift card initiatives, and clear promotional guidance to ensure strong in‑store execution. • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Category Management, Digital e‑Commerce, Marketing, Operations, Food Safety, and Consumer Products teams to optimize assortment, private label, omni‑channel programs, sanitation standards, and operational efficiency. • Develop and deliver operational standards and training, including SOPs, CRS‑wide training materials, and facilitation of commodity and leadership training to drive consistent execution and continuous improvement.
