Strategy & Operations – Data & Analytics Director

• Lead client engagements by translating complex data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and business outcomes • Design, oversee, and execute analytics initiatives involving structured and unstructured data using modern analytical techniques. • Manage projects from requirements gathering through implementation while maintaining scope, budget, timelines, and stakeholder communication • Lead or support deployment of software, automation, and analytics solutions within enterprise environments and modern cloud platforms • Partner with stakeholders across finance, accounting, FP&A, operations, and technology functions to deliver cross-functional solutions • Advise clients on data governance, data quality, security considerations, and sustainable operating models that encourage enterprise adoption • Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI-enabled analytics and automation capabilities, that can improve client outcomes • Mentor and develop team members while promoting continuous learning and adoption of emerging technologies • Support recruiting, talent development, and team-building initiatives • Drive business development through relationship building, opportunity identification, and proposal development • Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical audiences

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; quantitative disciplines such as Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields preferred
  • Experience in analytics, consulting, audit, technology implementation, or related client-service environments
  • Strong client-facing communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills
  • Experience in driving growth through both new and expanding existing relationships
  • Experience leading teams and managing complex engagements.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently research, solve problems, and develop practical solutions
  • Experience deploying and scaling analytics, automation, or data solutions within enterprise environments
  • Experience supporting middle-market organizations, private equity-backed companies, or other complex operating environments preferred
  • Preferred Technical Expertise ETL and automation tools (Alteryx, Power Query, or similar platforms)
  • Business intelligence and visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent)
  • Programming and analytics languages (Python preferred; R acceptable)
  • Data querying and database technologies (SQL and relational databases)
  • Cloud and modern data platforms (Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, or equivalent)
