Job Description

Speaker Operations Manager

CyberRisk Alliance

• Own end-to-end speaker logistics for events, including onboarding, communication, travel coordination, and on-site support • Serve as the primary point of contact for speakers, ensuring a high-quality, professional experience from confirmation through post-event follow-up • Coordinate travel arrangements (flights, hotels, ground transportation) in alignment with budget and company policies • Manage speaker schedules, session details, and rehearsal timelines to ensure smooth program execution • Partner cross-functionally with programming, marketing, production, and operations teams to align on speaker needs and event requirements • Track and maintain accurate speaker records, contracts, bios, headshots, and presentation materials • Ensure timely collection and review of speaker deliverables (presentations, AV needs, special requests) • Anticipate and resolve logistical issues proactively, both pre-event and on-site • Support on-site execution, including speaker check-in, green room management, and session transitions • Monitor budgets related to speaker travel and logistics, identifying cost efficiencies where possible • Continuously improve speaker processes, tools, and communications to enhance efficiency and experience

Job Requirements

  • 3 years+ of experience in event operations, conference production, speaker management, or a related field
  • Proven experience supporting logistics for multi-speaker programs, ideally within B2B or large-scale conferences
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and follow-through
  • Self-motivated, strategic thinker with a collaborative, solution-oriented approach
  • Experience in Swoogo and Sessionboard is a plus
  • Exceptional organizational, project, and time management skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite (Word, Excel and Power Point)
  • Knowledge of and interest in information security markets desired
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, and executive presence
  • Able to lift up to 20 lbs
  • Ability to travel periodically throughout the year to support onsite events operations.
