Role Description The Business Intelligence Engineer 2 solves complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. Work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action. Fully Remote The Medicaid Business Intelligence Engineer describes the tools, technologies, applications, and practices used to collect, develop, integrate, analyze, and present an organization's raw data in order to create insightful and actionable business information. Responsibilities include: - Supporting development of data and creation of processes, reporting, and visualizations for all Humana Healthy Horizons Medicaid Risk Adjustment, prospective programs, and interoperability. - Taking initiative to create innovative solutions to complex business problems. - Managing Big Data and data quality. - Understanding department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. - Making decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requiring minimal direction while receiving guidance where needed. - Following established guidelines/procedures.
