Role Description We are seeking two Junior Power BI Developers to support a large-scale reporting modernization initiative. This project involves converting existing reports from WebFOCUS to Microsoft Power BI as part of an organization-wide transition to a new reporting platform. This opportunity is ideal for early-career Power BI professionals who have hands-on experience developing reports and are comfortable working independently. Selected candidates will support an established team by migrating straightforward reports while senior team members handle more complex conversions. This role is based in Maryland - remote candidates may be considered. Per our client contract, candidates must be Green Card Holders or U.S. Citizens and be able to pass a background investigation. - Convert existing WebFOCUS reports into Power BI reports. - Develop, modify, and maintain basic Power BI reports and visualizations. - Recreate report layouts, filters, and reporting logic based on existing report requirements. - Independently migrate simple reports using Power BI's standard reporting capabilities. - Validate report accuracy and ensure data integrity throughout the migration process. - Collaborate with team members to clarify requirements and resolve reporting issues. - Participate in testing and quality assurance activities for migrated reports. - Meet project deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume migration environment. Qualifications - 1-2 years of experience using Microsoft Power BI. - Experience developing reports in Power BI. - Participation in at least one Power BI implementation, reporting, or migration project. - Ability to create standard business reports using Power BI's drag-and-drop functionality. - Experience working with datasets, report visualizations, filters, and formatting. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. - Availability to support a full-time, 40-hour-per-week engagement. Requirements - Experience with report migration or modernization projects. - Familiarity with WebFOCUS reporting tools. - Experience supporting government or large enterprise environments. - Understanding of reporting best practices and data validation techniques.
