Senior Compensation Analyst

Role Description Join Associated Bank as a Senior Compensation Analyst and play a key role in shaping compensation programs that attract, retain, and reward top talent. In this role, you'll partner with leaders across HR, Finance, Risk, Legal, and business lines to deliver data-driven compensation strategies, incentive plan design, and governance support. This is an excellent opportunity to influence enterprise-wide compensation programs while expanding your expertise in Total Rewards. Key Accountabilities - Analyze compensation programs, market data, and financial models to support competitive, equitable, and business-aligned pay practices. - Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to provide compensation guidance, recommendations, and consultative support. - Develop incentive compensation analyses, financial models, and scenario planning to evaluate plan effectiveness and business impact. - Manage compensation data, reporting, and system administration across platforms such as Workday, Payfactors, and other compensation tools. - Coordinate annual compensation planning activities, including salary, bonus, equity, and incentive compensation processes. - Prepare governance materials, plan documentation, and committee presentations while supporting regulatory compliance and enterprise risk management. - Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Risk, HR, and business stakeholders to implement compensation initiatives and continuous process improvements. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - 5+ years of experience administering and analyzing compensation programs. - Experience developing financial models, market analyses, and compensation recommendations. - Strong analytical, project management, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Experience working with compensation systems and Microsoft Excel. Requirements - Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification or the ability to obtain within 3–5 years. - Certified Sales Compensation Professional (CSCP) certification or the ability to obtain within 3–5 years. - Experience supporting incentive compensation plan design, governance, and administration. - Experience with Workday Compensation, Payfactors, or similar compensation platforms.
