Job Description

Accountant I

Experity

• Post and process journal entries. • Update accounts receivable and issue invoices. • Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations. • Assist in processing balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements as needed. • Assist with reviewing expenses, payroll records, etc. • Maintain customer and vendor contract data within the accounting system. • Assist with and prepare monthly/yearly closing statements. • Provide support for external audits. • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree in finance/accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • One years of experience in accounting or related field.
  • Proven analytical skills, solid understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of accounting software programs and comprehensive experience with computer systems.
  • Preferred: Bachelors degree in finance/accounting.
  • Ability to travel.
