• Own and manage business analyses, scalability, and driving fresh initiatives for financial planning and business intelligence systems • Collaborate with Finance, Business, and IT Teams to develop initiatives and strategies that optimize costs and improve internal and external reporting • Own and manage multi-departmental initiatives and work with project coordinators and internal teams on progress. Report to management. • Set the prioritization of initiatives based on ROI organizationally and financially • Create detailed business requirements, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions and have a thorough understanding of key performance indicators • Create requirements for analytics to aid in the creation of actionable dashboards • Conduct ad-hoc analyses. Assemble and summarize data to support operational decision making and develop and/or improve processes and financial reporting. • Resolve complex issues with minimal supervision.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Economics or MIS strongly preferred
- 3 years working with Excel using complex formulas, Pivot Tables, Power Query, dashboard development, data modeling, reporting automation, and large dataset analysis.
- 3 years of project management experience in a business/healthcare environment
- 3 years of business analytics/informatics experience in a business/healthcare environment
- Highly Proficient in MS Outlook, Word
- Experience working in Hospital Utilization Management, Case Management, CDI and Coding, and Revenue Cycle Operations

• Own HIPAA-compliant source-of-truth artifacts. Serve as the accountable owner for several Excel-based artifacts that govern Medicare claims business rules, edits, code sets, or requirements. • Maintain version control, change history, and documentation so these remain authoritative and audit-ready, and handle all content in accordance with HIPAA and CMS data-handling requirements. • Apply deep Medicare claims expertise. Act as the subject matter expert on CMS Medicare Part A (institutional, hospice, home health) and Part B (professional, outpatient, DME) claims processing, including how claims are edited, and use that expertise to evaluate the downstream impact of every proposed change. • Validate changes internally. Review and validate proposed updates to the spreadsheets before they go out, confirming they're accurate, internally consistent, and aligned with CMS policy and program requirements. • Identify discrepancies, edge cases, and ripple effects early. • Communicate changes externally.
