Senior Director, Capability & Learning, Global Development Operations

• Establish and lead a new capability responsible for workforce capability strategy, competency model development, functional learning strategy, onboarding excellence, and workforce readiness across Global Development Operations. • Work directly with GDO Vice Presidents, Associate Vice Presidents, and senior functional leaders to define the critical capabilities required for future business success. • Establish role-based competency frameworks and translate workforce capability requirements into targeted development strategies that improve organizational performance. • Serve as the strategic leader for capability architecture and learning governance across GDO. • Create scalable approaches that connect business strategy, workforce capability needs, learning investments, onboarding experiences, and measurable performance outcomes. • Develop and oversee GDO's learning strategy, ensuring capability development investments are aligned to business objectives.

Job Requirements

  • Doctorate degree and 5 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree and 8 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience
  • 15+ years of experience leading workforce capability, organizational learning, talent development, organizational effectiveness, workforce transformation, or related disciplines within complex global organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience developing competency models, capability frameworks, skills architectures, or workforce capability strategies at enterprise or functional scale.
  • Proven track record partnering with executive leadership teams to align workforce capability investments with business strategy and organizational performance objectives.
  • Experience building and scaling workforce capability, learning, organizational effectiveness, talent development, or workforce transformation functions, including establishment of governance, operating models, and organizational capabilities.
  • Demonstrated understanding of future workforce trends, skills-based organizations, and modern approaches to workforce capability development beyond traditional training models.
  • Experience leveraging workforce analytics, digital learning technologies, knowledge management approaches, artificial intelligence, or other emerging technologies to improve workforce capability and organizational performance.
  • Proven ability to anticipate future capability requirements and translate evolving business needs into workforce development strategies.
  • Experience operating effectively in highly matrixed organizations and influencing senior leaders without direct authority.
  • Demonstrated success establishing productive partnerships across learning, talent, human resources, quality, compliance, and business organizations.
  • Strong strategic thinking and systems orientation with the ability to connect workforce capability needs to broader organizational objectives.
