Role Description Greenville University’s Department of Biology and Chemistry is seeking an online (remote) adjunct instructor for Ecology. Preferred requirements include a minimum of a Master’s degree in Ecology, Environmental Sciences, or related field (PhD preferred). A commitment to excellence in teaching will be expected. The selected candidate must provide evidence of a vibrant Christian faith, clearly understand and internalize the mission of Greenville University, and articulate the value of Christian higher education. - Teaching online (asynchronous) the course lecture and lab for Ecology. Qualifications - A graduate degree or at least 18 graduate credits earned in Ecology, Environmental Sciences, or related fields. - A demonstrated, vibrant Christian faith compatible with the mission of Greenville University. - A commitment to excellence in teaching in the context of an undergraduate, liberal arts education. - Experience in engaging students in learning in settings that may include classroom, laboratory, and online (preferred). - A commitment to the integration of Christian faith with the discipline of biology and health care. - Ability to engage in critical thinking and exercise independent judgment. - Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral forms. Title: Gifts Processor Location: Greenville United States Job Description: Apply Job Type Part-time Description The Part-Time Gift Processing Assistant plays a critical role in supporting the Advancement team by ensuring all charitable gifts are processed accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner. This position helps maintain the integrity of donor records, supports donor stewardship through prompt acknowledgments, and contributes to a positive donor experience. This role is essential to the operational success of the Advancement Office and enables frontline fundraising staff to focus on donor engagement and revenue growth. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Gift Processing & Data Entry - Accurately process all incoming gifts, including checks, online gifts, pledges, matching gifts, and gifts-in-kind - Enter and maintain gift and donor information in the Virtuous CRM system - Ensure proper fund designation and coding for all gifts - Maintain accuracy and integrity of donor records Donor Acknowledgment & Stewardship Support - Generate and distribute tax receipts and gift acknowledgments in a timely manner - Assist in preparing donor stewardship communications and mailings - Support efforts to ensure donors feel seen, valued, and appreciated Reconciliation & Reporting - Assist with daily and weekly gift batch reconciliation - Coordinate with Finance to ensure accurate reporting and deposits - Support month-end and year-end processes as needed Administrative Support - Respond to donor inquiries related to gifts and receipts - Assist with data cleanup and record updates - Support audit preparation and compliance needs - Maintain confidentiality of donor information at all times Requirements Required - High attention to detail and strong organizational skills - Ability to handle confidential information with integrity - Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to manage routine, deadline-driven tasks with accuracy Preferred - Experience with data entry or administrative support - Familiarity with CRM systems (Virtuous or similar) - Experience in nonprofit, higher education, or fundraising environments KEY COMPETENCIES - Accuracy and attention to detail - Reliability and consistency - Strong organizational skills - Customer service mindset - Ability to work independently and as part of a team Compensation: $18-$20/hour Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions and department budget.
