Job Requirements
- Experience working as a software engineer on complex software projects.
- Excellent coding skills and solid development experience (Java, Python, .Net etc.) with debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Software development methodologies, with demonstrated experience developing scalable and robust software.
- Experienced in relational and NoSQL databases, data mapping, XML/JSON, REST-based web services.
- Knowledge of architecture design - Microservices architecture, containers (Docker & k8s), messaging queues.

Role Description We are looking for a senior fullstack engineer to join the Base team with emphasis in frontend onchain engineering, to enable and accelerate the success of Base. You’ll be working across all components of our system to enable the next generation of onchain products at the company. - Building and maintaining our frontend web applications with high quality standards - Open sourcing our web apps and libraries, and managing open source contributions and issues from the community - Assisting teams inside Coinbase building onchain products, leveraging industry best practices and modern dapp development patterns - Building key components of unified Base stack to further the decentralization of Base Qualifications - You have at least 3 years of experience in software engineering, and at least 2 years of experience in developing web apps and shipping user-facing features with JavaScript and modern js frameworks like React and NextJS - You've developed and shipped user-facing features with onchain components - You’re familiar with current trends and best practices in frontend architecture and dapp development, including security, performance, and usability. - You’re familiar with product and design lifecycles, and collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and product managers - You write high quality, well tested and maintainable code Requirements - You’ve worked with Golang, Reth, Foundry, Solidity - You have contributed to open source crypto projects - Experience with growth experiments or A/B testing frameworks - You’ve built responsive web or mobile applications Benefits - Base salary varies by location (see range below).
