• Build and ship full-stack features across Deepgram’s customer-facing Console and Playground experiences. • Build internal-facing tools and services that improve workflows and productivity across Deepgram. • Design, build, and maintain APIs and backend services that power end-user and internal product experiences. • Partner with product, design, and engineering to create accessible, performant, and responsive interfaces backed by reliable systems. • Translate product ideas and requirements into well-scoped, incrementally releasable work across frontend and backend layers. • Balance rapid iteration with long-term maintainability, quality, scalability, and performance. • Help raise the bar through code reviews, technical design discussions, and strong engineering practices across the stack.

• Contribute to the technical direction of the Perception Architecture team and the broader perception organization. • Design and develop core machine learning components and architectures that enable the perception system to scale and reliably address complex, long-tail driving scenarios. • Drive the initial implementation and prototyping of key architectural decisions, such as handling long tail challenges or long range detection. • Contribute to the improvement of model frameworks, architecture, and data pipelines to eliminate development bottlenecks and accelerate model iteration. • Lead challenging technical topics and build consensus across sister teams (e.g., Actor Detection, Scene Understanding, Tracking) and stakeholders to ensure autonomy-wide alignment.

Role Description We are looking for a senior fullstack engineer to join the Base team with emphasis in frontend onchain engineering, to enable and accelerate the success of Base. You’ll be working across all components of our system to enable the next generation of onchain products at the company. - Building and maintaining our frontend web applications with high quality standards - Open sourcing our web apps and libraries, and managing open source contributions and issues from the community - Assisting teams inside Coinbase building onchain products, leveraging industry best practices and modern dapp development patterns - Building key components of unified Base stack to further the decentralization of Base Qualifications - You have at least 3 years of experience in software engineering, and at least 2 years of experience in developing web apps and shipping user-facing features with JavaScript and modern js frameworks like React and NextJS - You've developed and shipped user-facing features with onchain components - You’re familiar with current trends and best practices in frontend architecture and dapp development, including security, performance, and usability. - You’re familiar with product and design lifecycles, and collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and product managers - You write high quality, well tested and maintainable code Requirements - You’ve worked with Golang, Reth, Foundry, Solidity - You have contributed to open source crypto projects - Experience with growth experiments or A/B testing frameworks - You’ve built responsive web or mobile applications Benefits - Base salary varies by location (see range below).
