Role Description The Account Support Specialist role involves providing essential support to the company's Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) services by managing and maintaining client accounts, including scheduling, reporting, record-keeping, and claims/invoice review. The position requires a detail-oriented individual with exceptional organizational skills to ensure the smooth running of the FBOP client base. Key Responsibilities - Coordinate and schedule patient medical referrals to appropriate providers and ensure timely communication of appointment confirmations to site staff. - Manage Electronic Record Management Application scheduling functions for FBOP business, including initial referral entry, appointment scheduling, patient information history, and completion status. - Maintain positive relations with partner hospitals and specialty physician providers, ensuring accurate and timely payments, and communicate provider needs to the Network Development department. - Manage patient appointment book for on-site clinics and emergency off-site occurrences and obtain proper documentation from clients on a monthly basis. - Communicate emergent issues, invoicing concerns, process improvement, and client reporting to FBOP leadership and the client. - Obtain and manage medical records from outside providers and provide timely information to the client.
