Role Description The Telehealth Nurse Manager oversees the daily clinical, operational, and staffing functions of the organization’s virtual nursing services. Working under the Director of Telehealth Nursing Services and in collaboration with onsite leadership, this role ensures high-quality, compliant patient care across telehealth operations. The position focuses on supporting virtual nursing staff, maintaining efficient operations, and driving strong performance outcomes. The Telehealth Nurse Manager also plays a key role in fostering staff engagement and maintaining effective relationships with clients and partners. Key Responsibilities - Provide leadership, support, scheduling, and guidance to virtual nursing staff delivering telehealth services. - Coordinate orientation, training, continuing education, recruitment, and performance evaluation of virtual nurses. - Oversee development, delivery, and evaluation of patient care in compliance with nursing standards, policies, and regulatory requirements. - Serve as the primary liaison and escalation point for clinical and operational issues, supporting quality improvement and risk management. - Maintain strong client relationships, support service implementation, conduct audits and reviews, and promote service excellence. Qualifications - Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. - Minimum of one (1) year correctional healthcare experience required. - Two (2) years of supervisory experience in an acute setting recommended. - Have and maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse within the state of employment. - Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification. How you make a difference The Virtual Emergency Care Physician Assistant delivers acute care via telemedicine for incarcerated patients experiencing emergency complaints. The PA assesses conditions, recommends treatment, and coordinates care with facility staff and physician collaborators. They document encounters in the EMR and support HIPAA compliance, quality reviews, and administrative meetings. This role includes identifying patients for emergency transfers and providing support across services. The PA plays a key role in rapid response and psychiatric stability assessment. How you make a difference The Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Counselor provides evaluation, treatment, and ongoing support to individuals recovering from substance use disorders through telehealth services. This role works as part of an interdisciplinary team to support positive clinical outcomes and coordinated care. The counselor delivers individual and group counseling while contributing to treatment planning and continuity of care. The position also supports discharge planning and crisis intervention while maintaining accurate documentation and confidentiality. Key Responsibilities - Administer screening and assessment tools and diagnose substance use disorders when within scope of licensure. - Provide individual and group substance use disorder counseling services and participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning. - Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to evaluate, treat, and support individuals with SUD. - Complete accurate, timely documentation, collect and analyze service data, and assist with reports for contracts, grants, or accreditation. - Support continuity of care, crisis response, discharge planning, and other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements Education - Master’s degree in social work from an accredited college or university. Experience - Experience providing SUD counseling required. - Experience in supervisory role preferred. How you make a difference The Registered Nurse Telehealth is responsible for remotely assisting in the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Under the supervision of the Regional Telehealth Nurse Manager and collaboration with local onsite staff, directs, guides, and assists with patient teaching and activities that commensurate with his/her education and demonstrated competencies. Key Responsibilities • Provides telehealth support and guidance to onsite staff in the assessment, planning, and implementation of individualized treatment programs. • Implements clinical and technical aspects of care, intervenes with safety techniques and procedures, and supports the implementation of medical plans and diagnostic testing. • Assists the Health Care Practitioner as necessary to meet individual patient needs, including implementing nutrition and therapeutic diet plans.• Documents nursing encounters using SOAP charting in the telehealth platform and attends mandatory staff meetings and training. • Communicates information to nursing staff, physicians, and other staff members as necessary. Qualifications & Requirements Education - Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Experience - Prefer a minimum of one (1) year correctional healthcare experience or - A minimum of one (1) year clinical experience. How you make a difference The Regional Nurse Manager Telehealth is accountable for managing the company's virtual nursing services and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations. This position collaborates with onsite leadership and reports to the Clinical Operations Director of Telehealth to develop schedules and assignments for virtual nurses while maintaining cost allocations for each site. Additionally, the Regional Nurse Manager ensures high-quality care and adherence to regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities - Oversees virtual nursing services, creating staff schedules and assignments and providing support and guidance to virtual nurses. - Coordinates orientation, training, and continuing education for virtual nurses and conducts recruitment and retention efforts. - Participates in planning and policy development for virtual nursing activities, ensuring compliance with standards and requirements. - Monitors workforce management system and coordinates patient care with local leadership and other healthcare providers. - Conducts evaluations of employees' performance, assesses policies and procedures, and attends quality meetings to identify opportunities for improvement. Qualifications & Requirements Education - Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Experience - A minimum of one (1) year correctional healthcare experience required - Two (2) years of supervisory experience in an acute setting recommended Licenses/Certifications - Have and maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse within the state of employment. - Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.
