Role Description CapsLock builds long-term marketing solutions for large partners. We don’t just run ads - we become a permanent marketing partner for our clients. For years our core market was home services and home improvement. Now we are expanding into new industries. Some target examples are: insurance, senior care, healthcare, wellness and beauty. This role is a key part of that growth. Why this role exists: - Almost every company that takes a first meeting with us likes what we offer. - Our challenge is simple: we need more first meetings with the right companies. That is your job. - This is a pure “hunter” role - 100% focused on new business. You will not manage existing accounts or campaigns. Job Requirements: - Research target industries and companies together with our growth team and a dedicated researcher; identify the right decision-makers. - Run creative, multi-channel cold outreach: email, LinkedIn, phone calls, and non-standard touches. Build smart sequences (7+ touchpoints), not email blasts. - Book meetings with the right size of companies - quality over quantity. Example: from 7 target companies in an industry, we expect at least half on a call. - Attend 4-6 industry conferences per year: network, learn the market, bring back insights and ideas. - Spend your first 2-3 months learning our value proposition and messaging; work with a ready playbook of what works and what doesn’t. - Share feedback with our launch and CRO teams; keep your pipeline and CRM data clean and up to date. How we measure success: - Meetings booked per month and quarter with the right companies (~25% of the weight). - How many of those meetings are strong enough to enter our test calendar (~75% of the weight). Qualifications - 5-7+ years in business development / client acquisition with heavy cold outreach (any industry, not only marketing). - A book of business you built from scratch - and real numbers to show: open rates, reply rates, booked meetings. - Expert level in LinkedIn Sales Navigator. - Hands-on daily experience with a sales CRM / outreach platform (Apollo, Outreach, Salesloft, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar). - Multi-channel prospecting: you don’t stop at one email and one call — you use sequences, creativity, and persistence. - Mature, strategic, process-driven mindset; excellent written and spoken communication. - Based in the US or Canada, able to work EST hours and travel to conferences. Requirements - Experience with Apollo, ClickUp, or Tableau. - Experience in insurance, senior care, healthcare, wellness or beauty industries. - Confident conference networking experience. Benefits - Remote Work: We are a truly remote-first company. You choose where you feel the most productive and comfortable to make an impact. - Paid Time Off: Work-life balance matters to us, and we support it with paid time off for rest, personal time, or simply doing what makes you happy. - Ongoing Learning: We believe in curiosity and growth. That’s why we support continuous learning with workshops, online courses, conferences, and certifications. - Home Office: We help you set up your perfect workspace by covering equipment and furniture expenses, so you can do your best work from home. - Physical Well-Being: From gym memberships and yoga classes to home workout equipment or even a bicycle, we give you the flexibility to stay active your way. - Unlimited Sick Days: Your health matters. Take the time you need to rest and recover - we’ll be here when you’re ready to return. - Medical Coverage: We support you and your family with reimbursement for medical insurance and health-related expenses, including dental care and psychological support. - Co-Working Space: If you sometimes crave a change of scenery or more social interaction, we’ll cover the full cost of a co-working space. - Fun Stuff: From gaming nights and fitness challenges to annual retreats at world-class resorts, we make sure there’s never a shortage of fun and connection.
