Role Description We're looking for an Associate Creative Director to evolve and elevate the Elastic brand. What You'll Do - Lead and mentor an in-house team of designers and video creatives. - Set a strategic creative direction across campaigns, launches, events, digital, social, and executive communications. - Provide artistic direction and guidance to team members to ensure consistency and alignment with brand standards. - Raise the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of the Elastic brand. - Translate complex technical concepts into engaging creative for developers, practitioners, and enterprise buyers. - Review and provide clear feedback on all creative materials to ensure they meet Elastic’s standards for quality, accuracy, and brand consistency. - Build efficient creative processes that help the team move faster without sacrificing quality. - Partner closely with marketing, product, executives, and agencies to deliver strategic creative. - Champion experimentation, AI-powered workflows, and modern creative practices. - Manage relationships with external creative agencies and media partners to ensure high-quality execution of deliverables. Qualifications - Experience leading in-house creative teams, ideally in B2B technology. - Exceptional portfolio demonstrating strong brand thinking and execution. - Deep understanding of technical audiences and enterprise marketing. - Ability to balance creative innovation with operational discipline. - Strong coaching, communication, and stakeholder management skills. - Curiosity, adaptability, and a desire to continuously evolve how creative work gets done. Requirements - Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary. This role does not have a variable compensation component. - The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is $128,200 — $202,900 USD. - In select locations (including Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, the San Francisco Bay Area CA, and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply: $153,800 — $243,300 USD. - An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
