Role Description We are seeking a highly creative, strategic, and technically savvy Digital Marketing & Social Media Specialist to manage and grow our online presence across multiple platforms. This is not a standard social media role; success requires a deep understanding of social media algorithms, maximizing organic reach, and navigating strict platform content restrictions. - Social Media Growth: - Plan, create and publish engaging content across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. - Post daily (often multiple times per day) to maximize organic reach. - Schedule and manage content calendars. - Monitor engagement and optimize posting times. - Build audience growth through organic strategies. - Respond to trends quickly and capitalize on viral opportunities. - Algorithm & Platform Strategy: - Stay ahead of Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok algorithm changes. - Develop strategies that maximize visibility and engagement. - Minimize content suppression ("shadow banning") where possible. - Understand platform policies and work within them. - Continually test new content formats and posting strategies. - Analyze performance and adjust campaigns accordingly. - SEO & Website Marketing: - Improve website search rankings. - Conduct keyword research. - Optimize website content. - Create SEO-friendly blog articles. - Monitor Google Search Console and Analytics. - Identify new organic traffic opportunities. - AI Content Creation: - Use AI to generate high-quality content. - Create images and marketing assets. - Produce captions, articles, and campaign ideas. - Build AI workflows to improve productivity. - Research and implement new AI tools as they emerge. - Digital Marketing: - Assist with broader digital marketing initiatives including email marketing campaigns, landing page optimization, campaign reporting, competitor research, marketing analytics, and promotional campaign planning. - Digital Billboard Campaigns: - Create digital billboard artwork. - Coordinate campaign schedules. - Manage creative updates. - Monitor campaign performance where applicable. - Reporting: - Provide regular reports covering website traffic, SEO performance, social media growth, engagement metrics, content performance, and recommendations for continual improvement. Qualifications - 3+ years' experience in Digital Marketing. - Strong SEO knowledge. - Advanced Instagram knowledge. - Strong Facebook Business Suite experience. - Strong TikTok marketing experience. - Experience growing social media accounts organically. - Excellent understanding of social media algorithms. - Experience using AI tools for marketing. - Strong written English. - Excellent attention to detail. - Highly organised and proactive. - Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
