Role Description The Senior Director of Product & Platform Engineering leads the teams responsible for Ferguson Home experiences and platform strategy. Qualifications - 15+ years of software engineering and technology leadership experience, with at least 7+ years leading multiple engineering teams and people leaders. - Proven track record leading large-scale digital transformation, customer experience modernization, and platform consolidation while maintaining business continuity. - Demonstrated success delivering customer-facing digital products and experiences at scale across web and mobile channels. - Solid understanding of customer engagement and journeys across digital channels and implementing reusable capabilities that can be leveraged across multiple channels and customer touchpoints. Technical Stack - Deep expertise in modern web technologies and digital experience platforms (React, Node.js, REST API, Event based). - Experience with API-first architectures, BFF (Backend-for-Frontend) patterns, micro-frontends, and modern integration frameworks. - Familiarity with cloud-native architectures, CI/CD pipelines, observability platforms, performance engineering, and DevSecOps practices. - Experience integrating customer-facing applications with enterprise services.
