Area Director of Revenue Strategy

Role Description Starting base salary from $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 annually plus additional incentives. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Administration, Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or related field preferred. - 4–6+ years of hotel revenue management experience, including experience at the property level or multi-property oversight. - Experience driving revenue strategy and market share performance for full-service, boutique, and select-service properties. - Strong leadership capabilities with successful experience effectively leading teams and influencing indirect reports at multiple properties. - Proficiency in revenue systems (RMS), channel management, forecasting tools, and data analytics. Preferred in Marriott, Hilton, or Hyatt system certified. - Comprehensive understanding of hotel distribution and connectivity landscape; understands and keeps abreast of new channels, new connectivity partners, and new tools. - Exceptional analytical skills with ability to package and present insights to various stakeholders. Keeps current on market and industry trends. Can interpret data and translate into actionable strategies. - Effective communicator with ability to influence property-level teams and cross-functional partners. - Collaborative, business-minded, and commercially driven; thrives in a fast-growing hospitality environment. - Ability to travel 15% of the time. Requirements - Support revenue strategy across an assigned portfolio of hotels to drive RevPAR through balanced occupancy and ADR performance. - Execute pricing, forecasting, and inventory strategies in alignment with company guidelines. - Lead and facilitate the weekly revenue meetings with property teams and help ensure alignment on strategy and execution. - Monitor market trends and demand patterns and conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities. - Review and analyze the property’s competitive performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve results. - Optimize distribution channel mix, including brand.com, OTAs, GDS, and direct channels. - Ensure proper setup, maintenance, and utilization of revenue management systems and tools. Expert in Marriott systems and tools preferred. - Lead the forecasting and budgeting processes, and aim for the company’s forecasting accuracy target and reporting consistency across assigned properties. - Utilize BI tools to improve efficiency of revenue management process. - Partner with General Managers, Sales, and Marketing teams to align on commercial strategy. - Provide guidance and support to on-property teams in executing revenue initiatives. - Collaborate with corporate teams to ensure consistency in approach and best practice sharing. - Prepare and deliver regular performance updates, forecasts, and insights to leadership. - Support weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting processes.
