Intermediate Analytics Developer
Axonify
Role Description The Intermediate Analytics Developer partners with our product and development teams to deliver proactive insights and data products such as user-facing reports to help add value and enable data-informed decisions to Axonify customers and internal stakeholders. - Build and maintain user-facing reports to help Axonify customers gain insights into their user base and surface opportunities to help Axonify customers grow their workforce. - Build and maintain data models which will power underlying customer/internal reports and analyses. - Partner with Product and Development teams to conduct product/feature analyses and build relevant reports to provide product insights. - Ensure data schemas for new features will support future analytics and data product needs. - Collaborate with various cross-functional stakeholders, including Product Managers, Developers, Designers, UX Researchers, and Data Engineers to address ad hoc data needs and work on projects related to organizing and analyzing data. - Be an integral part of the Data organization, leveraging and contributing to the vibrant knowledge base, shared across a community of world-class data experts. - Identify opportunities to leverage AI tools and techniques to automate tasks, improve code quality, or optimize software performance. Qualifications - Degree in quantitative field OR equivalent experience. - 3-4+ years of experience in a similar field. - Experience with Looker and Bigquery a must. - Strong proficiency with relational database (e.g., SQL) and statistical analysis/programming languages (e.g., R / Python). - Solid foundation in statistics with proficiency in fundamental statistical techniques such as t-tests, linear regression, etc. - Demonstrated ability to communicate and discuss complex topics with technical & non-technical audiences. - Good product and business acumen. - Demonstrated ability to take defined problems and solve them in a structured, hypothesis-driven, data-supported way. - Demonstrated experience of data warehousing concepts and how this applies to analytics and reports for new features. Role Description The Analytics Engineer is responsible for modeling data to provide clean, accurate datasets for use across the organization. Qualifications - 2–5 years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, business intelligence, or a related data-focused role. - Experience designing, building, and maintaining data models and data marts that support business reporting and analytics. - Strong knowledge of ETL processes, data integration, and transforming data from structured and unstructured sources. - Proficiency with SQL and at least one programming language (such as Python or similar) for data analysis and engineering. - Experience optimizing data pipelines, queries, and analytics solutions for performance and scalability. - Understanding of data modeling best practices, data quality, and engineering standards. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into reliable data solutions. - Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to partner across technical and business teams. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - High school diploma required.
