Area Pricing Manager
Applied Industrial Technologies
• Collaborate with sales management to implement and maintain area-specific pricing strategies aligned with organizational goals and market conditions • Align local practices with corporate standards and objectives • Implement, maintain and monitor customer price records to ensure accuracy, profitability and efficiency • Educate and support sales associates with the goal to improve gross profit and reduce price overrides • Monitor the effectiveness of pricing programs and make recommendations for continuous improvement • Present analysis on pricing performance to the sales team • Partner with stakeholders during RFQ/RFP processes to develop local pricing strategies • Execute customer price updates in SAP as requested by the sales team • Serve as liaison between the chargeback department and sales associates, providing support and obtaining necessary pricing information • Pro-actively collaborate with sales team to reduce overrides while protecting and improving gross margin • Apply critical thinking to resolve pricing issues in collaboration with sales team • Assist in special projects as assigned • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives for pricing processes
Job Requirements
- 3–5 years of related experience preferred
- Solid fundamental understanding of pricing structures and techniques
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Preferred: SAP OTC (Order to Cash), SAP Pricing, Vistex Modules, Power BI and AI experience
- Ability to manage competing priorities and collaborate across all levels
- Strong organization and time-management skills; consistently meets deadlines
- Results-oriented; works effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred

Role Description As Portfolio Pricing Manager/Senior Analyst within our Transactions Management team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping competitive pricing strategies that win business and drive profitability. Working closely with the Pricing Director of Portfolio Services, you'll be at the center of our new business development efforts, translating complex real estate data into compelling commercial solutions.
