Software Engineer II

• Design, develop and maintain scalable and secure .NET APIs. • Build intuitive and responsive front-end tools using Angular. • Integrate with third-party APIs and systems to enhance application functionality. • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively and efficiently. • Take ownership of projects, working independently to deliver high-quality solutions. • Learn and adapt quickly to new technologies, tools and software as required. • Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the IT department’s technology roadmap. • Document technical designs, processes and user guides as needed. • Occasionally manage small projects as a technical lead. • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand project requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience (5+ years)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in software development
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, preferably MSSQL (T-SQL) and/or Oracle (PL/SQL)
- Proficiency in developing RESTful .NET APIs
- Hands-on experience with Angular for building front-end user interfaces
- Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and the Document Object Model (DOM)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- High degree of self-motivation, attention to detail, and commitment to quality
- Understanding of software development security principles and best practices
- Willingness and ability to learn new programming languages, tools, and techniques
