Job Description
AI Innovation Associate (Vibe Coder)
TELUS
Role Description The Channel Technology and Sales Strategy team drives GTM effectiveness through innovation at the intersection of systems, people, and processes. We explore cutting-edge solutions, optimize sales workflows, and build strategic frameworks that empower our sales teams to operate at peak performance. As a Technical Product Manager (Prototyping) — or as we call it, a "Vibe Coder" — you'll be the orchestrator at the center of our Sales Technology Team, commanding AI agents to build functional prototypes that solve real-world friction for Sales, BI, and Marketing teams. - Build rapid prototypes that Sales, BI, and Marketing teams test and iterate on immediately. - Focus on core pillars: Leads, Opportunities, Sales Telephony, and Conversational Intelligence. - Transition prototypes from concept to user feedback in days, not months. - Command AI agents to handle the heavy lift of the software while focusing on product logic and user interface. How You'll Do It: - Own the end-to-end prototyping lifecycle for core pillars autonomously. - Collaborate closely with BI, Sales, and Product teams on discovery and feedback loops. - Shadow Sales, BI, and Marketing teams to identify real-world friction points. - Translate verbal needs into structured logic and functional designs. - Develop functional prototypes using AI-native development environments. - Collaborate with the Agentic AI Sales Team to integrate Gemini-powered summaries and real-time data. - Prioritize speed and flexibility to create proof-of-concept models. - Document logic, prompt architecture, and design decisions for traditional engineering teams. - Conduct testing and validation to ensure prototypes meet functional requirements. Qualifications - You're a Maker with an AI-First Mindset: Eager to experiment and find the shortest path to a working demo. - Understand the fundamentals of logic and code: Experience with Python, JavaScript, or equivalent. - Product-First Thinker: Focus on solving user problems and reducing admin time. - All-Star Communicator: Translate vague requests into specific technical requirements. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a technical field (or equivalent hands-on building experience). - Experience building functional prototypes or proof-of-concepts that went from concept to user feedback within 1-4 weeks. Benefits - Agile & Entrepreneurial: Small-business feel within a big company. - Modern Tooling: Lead with AI tools to focus on innovation and speed. - High Visibility: Work on a strategic, high-profile project with a dedicated team. - Flexible Work: Tools and technology to work from wherever you're most productive.
