Role Description Lead data analysis teams by writing advanced SQL queries and developing functional reporting design documents to support complex organizational projects. - Identify key data trends and implement integrated system projects across multiple technical platforms to drive operational improvements and efficiencies. - Map existing business processes and functions to recommend strategic changes that align with integrated systems and departmental goals. - Direct the reconciliation of clinical documentation, surgical logs, and nursing records to ensure the accurate assignment of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM codes. - Support the maintenance of charge capture activities and CDM workflows while mentoring junior analysts to ensure data quality and management consistency. Qualifications - High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. - 3-5+ years of work within revenue integrity, revenue cycle operations, revenue cycle informatics, surgical nursing, or hospital coding preferred. • Advise audit and compliance engagements supporting DoD financial systems, including JTMS and related ERP or logistics platforms • Establish and enforce audit work standards consistent with GAGAS and federal audit requirements • Support Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) objectives and DoD auditability goals • Manage internal controls testing, documentation, remediation tracking, and risk assessments • Manage SOC-1 Type I and Type II audit support activities for service organization environments • Coordinate walkthroughs, control testing, and auditor inquiries • Validate control design and operating effectiveness • Ensure remediation plans are implemented and documented appropriately • Identify recurring audit themes and systemic control issues • Recommend enhancements to financial system controls, reporting processes, and governance structures

• Perform daily audits on client data for completeness and accuracy of coding utilizing both coding and clinical background to ensure appropriateness for reimbursement and meet required client turnaround time and KPI goals • Respond to provider appeals and meet required client turnaround time and KPI goals • Contribute to product by providing feedback to Management/Development Teams on changes to enhance editing and efficiency • Become familiar with claims payment policy and processing – specifically CMS, Medicaid regulations, AAOS, ICD-10, CPT & HCPCS, etc. • Complete all responsibilities as outlined in the annual performance review and/or goal setting • Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned
