Senior Audit Analyst

• Advise audit and compliance engagements supporting DoD financial systems, including JTMS and related ERP or logistics platforms • Establish and enforce audit work standards consistent with GAGAS and federal audit requirements • Support Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) objectives and DoD auditability goals • Manage internal controls testing, documentation, remediation tracking, and risk assessments • Manage SOC-1 Type I and Type II audit support activities for service organization environments • Coordinate walkthroughs, control testing, and auditor inquiries • Validate control design and operating effectiveness • Ensure remediation plans are implemented and documented appropriately • Identify recurring audit themes and systemic control issues • Recommend enhancements to financial system controls, reporting processes, and governance structures
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field of study
- Active Secret Clearance
- 8+ years of experience supporting DoD or federal financial audit engagements
- Demonstrated knowledge of: - DoD financial management environments - Internal Controls - SOC-1 audit requirements - GAGAS standards - Federal financial compliance frameworks

Role Description The Software Quality Analyst is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and readiness of web-based applications throughout the software development lifecycle. This role partners closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to analyze requirements, design and execute comprehensive test strategies, and identify risks early in the delivery process. The Software Quality Analyst performs a range of testing activities, including: - Functional testing - Regression testing - Integration testing - End-to-end testing In addition to hands-on testing, this role actively contributes to Agile teams, supports user acceptance testing, promotes continuous improvement of QA practices, and helps ensure quality standards are met from initial concept through deployment and production support. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent practical experience in software quality assurance. - Demonstrated experience as a mid-level QA Engineer or Analyst, contributing to end-to-end testing efforts across multiple releases. - Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and quality assurance principles within Agile/Scrum environments. - Hands-on experience designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web-based and/or API-driven applications using both manual and automated methodologies. - Proficiency with defect tracking and test management tools; able to clearly document, communicate, and validate defects end to end. - Experience collaborating within cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams (e.g., product, engineering, business stakeholders). - Working knowledge of relational databases and the ability to query data to support testing and validation. - Familiarity with at least one testing specialty, such as test automation, API testing, or non-functional testing (performance, load, or reliability). - Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and delivery timelines. - Ability to pass a background check upon hire and throughout employment.
