• Lead enterprise IT sourcing and software procurement as a Senior Manager, IT Procurement • Manage the largest and most complex software renewals, strategic sourcing initiatives, and IT procurement governance • Drive measurable savings and operate independently without the need for daily oversight • Collaborate with IT in the establishment of a Software Steering Committee to vet new suppliers • Manage the strategic supplier software renewal cycle using a 12 month time fence • Ensure critical software provider contracts are sourced, negotiated and implemented • Partner with key stakeholders in ensuring supplier performance standards are met • Analyze business requirements by partnering with stakeholders to develop solutions for IT needs • Create Short and Long Term Commodity strategy • Mentor Procurement team members in areas of RFx creation, contract review, negotiations, and Procurement Best Practices
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred
- 5-10 years of experience working in IT operations
- Negotiation experience with large, complex renewals with SW providers such as Microsoft, Salesforce, Workday.
- Ability to work cross functionally to create and implement standard processes and policies
- Flexibility to navigate current state company operating procedures and collaboratively propose, plan and execute future state.
- Project management experience desired
- Ability to drive consensus
- Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of levers available to delivery best possible price for new software
- Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize
- Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices
