Role Description The Director of Software Engineering is responsible for the strategic leadership, operational excellence, and technical direction of Orbital Engineering's software engineering organization. Reporting as a senior technology leader, this role oversees multiple software engineering teams responsible for enterprise applications, customer-facing platforms, system integrations, APIs, automation, and emerging digital technologies. The Director establishes engineering standards, drives technical modernization, and ensures software solutions are secure, scalable, reliable, and aligned with business objectives. This leader combines executive leadership with deep technical credibility to build high-performing teams, modernize software delivery practices, and deliver technology solutions that create measurable business value. • Establish and execute a strategic roadmap for Omada's Data Engineering platform. • Lead the delivery of scalable, reliable, and governed data products that enable analytics, reporting, experimentation, and AI-driven insights. • Deliver trusted, reusable production datasets that power Applied Data Science, Product, Clinical, Commercial, Finance, Operations, and Executive analytics. • Lead, develop and grow a high-performing Data Engineering organization through hiring, coaching, mentoring, and career development. • Foster a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning. • Empower teams to deliver high-impact solutions while maintaining a strong focus on quality and operational excellence. • Partner with Product, Analytics, Data Science, Architecture, Governance, and Engineering leaders to define priorities and accelerate data-driven decision making across Omada. • Translate business needs into scalable platform capabilities and trusted data products. • Build strong relationships across the organization to drive alignment, transparency, and execution. • Establish engineering excellence through improved data quality, reliability, observability, security, and platform performance. • Define and monitor engineering and operational metrics to continuously improve platform health, cost efficiency, and developer productivity. • Guide adoption of Improved reliability, quality, governance, and usability of enterprise data products. • Provide technical leadership for architecture, platform evolution, scalable technologies, reusable frameworks, and engineering standards across Data Engineering. • Expand self-service analytics through trusted and reusable data capabilities. • Influence long-term technology strategy while partnering with engineering leaders across Omada to build a world-class data platform.

• Leading, managing, and growing a high-performing team of frontend engineers focused on design systems, accessible component libraries, and frontend platform tooling • Owning the strategy and roadmap for Zocdoc's design system and accessible React component library, ensuring it is the preferred foundation for feature development across all product teams • Driving accessibility across Zocdoc's web and mobile surfaces — establishing planning, build, and QA processes so accessible product development becomes a consistent, measurable standard • Partnering with UX, Product, and Engineering to build and evolve a scalable, accessible, mobile-responsive component library that works seamlessly across web and native mobile platforms • Identifying and delivering platform improvements that meaningfully speed up frontend and mobile development across the engineering organization • Partnering with Product, UX, and Analytics to research and prioritize roadmaps and set a clear technical direction • Mentoring and coaching engineers at all levels to deliver outstanding work in React.js and related frontend and mobile technologies • Working with cutting edge GenAI tools and technology to accelerate development velocity, improve engineering workflows, and raise the bar on what the team can ship • Setting technical strategy with a focus on scalability, developer experience, and ease of contribution across teams • Contributing to Engineering Culture at Zocdoc — helping shape career ladders, supporting cross-team events, interviewing, and building a more inclusive technology workforce
