Role Description We are looking for a hands-on and product-obsessed Product Manager to join our team remotely within Germany or in our offices in Leipzig. This is a full-time role ideal for someone who geeks out about data visualization, isn't afraid of Markdown specs and nerdy engineers, and is ready to do whatever it takes to ship an awesome product. As our Product Manager, you own the "what" and the "why" behind everything we ship. You talk to customers, dig through usage data, write crisp specs, and sit down with our engineers to turn ideas into features people love. In a small team, no task is "not your job"—and you wouldn't have it any other way. - Product Roadmap: Define and prioritize what we build next based on customer feedback, market insights, and business goals. - Specs & Documentation: Write clear, detailed specs in Markdown—because that's how we roll—so engineering knows exactly what to build and why. - Customer Discovery: Talk to customers. A lot. Understand their workflows, pain points, and what "mind-blowing" means to them. - Cross-Team Collaboration: Work daily with engineering and design to ship iteratively and fast. - AI Exploration: Evaluate where AI can genuinely make our product smarter—and where it's just hype. - Data-Driven Decisions: Track product metrics, run experiments, and use data to validate ideas (or kill your darlings). - Get Shit Done: Do whatever it takes to move the product forward—whether that's coordinating a launch, triaging a bug, answering a support ticket, or making coffee for the team. Qualifications - Excellent written and spoken English skills (a must); Good German skills are a plus. - 2+ years of experience in product management, ideally in a SaaS or B2B environment. - A genuine interest in data visualization, charts, and making complex information look great. - The ability to write specs that engineers actually enjoy reading. Markdown fluency is a must. - No fear of working closely with nerdy engineers—in fact, you consider yourself one of them. - Curiosity about AI/ML and a pragmatic sense for where it can improve a product. - A bias for action: you'd rather ship something imperfect and iterate than debate for weeks. - Bonus: you've used R, PowerBI, Tableau, D3.js, played with data viz tools, or have opinions about bar charts vs. pie charts. Benefits - Full-time position with a competitive remuneration package. - Start-up environment where your talents and motivation can make a real impact. - International team of highly motivated doers. - Fully remote position (within Germany), with ultra-nice offices in Leipzig (Plagwitz) for optional in-person collaboration. - Need something else?
