Role Description As a Data Analytics Engineer for GFiber, you will be working with multiple stakeholders across the organization to provide quantitative support, define metric rules and logic, deliver useful tables and reports, model business scenarios, and solve a wide range of business problems. To do so, you will be expected to create new pipelines from scratch, merging broad financial and ERP data sets together into a cohesive technical infrastructure. You will be responsible for engineering foundational table resources using Google Cloud Platform (GCP): BigQuery, Dataform, LookML, Dataplex, etc. The pipelines, metrics, tools, and analyses you develop will be used by our leaders to make strategic decisions and serve as a key input in decision-making. - Create foundational pipelines and data extractions with large data sets using SQL and other GCP technologies demonstrating comfort with software-engineering-level best practices and approaches to data pipelines and management. - Work with large, complex data sets to solve difficult analysis problems, assess the impact of initiatives, and create ongoing tooling/resources to run the business. - Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand business context for solutions, analysis, and tooling needed to become the single point of contact for all financial data engineering questions. - Undertake specific tasks, bugs, and maintenance work. Additionally, own complex projects, proving mastery through accuracy, timeliness, and volume of work, with minimal guidance. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. - 5 years of experience in analytics, data science, and/or computer science engineering. - 5 years of experience with using SQL, writing queries from scratch on a daily basis, data engineering, architecture, pipeline management, and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL). - Expertise using GCP tools. Requirements - Experience in HTML, Python, or other coding languages. - Experience using data to identify opportunities for business improvement and defining/measuring the success of those initiatives. - Ability to use written and verbal communication to build relationships with cross-functional partners and conduct presentations for stakeholders, including executive leadership. - Ability to engage with PMO teams to prioritize, provide level of effort estimations, manage bug queues and bandwidth. Role Description The Intermediate Analytics Developer partners with our product and development teams to deliver proactive insights and data products such as user-facing reports to help add value and enable data-informed decisions to Axonify customers and internal stakeholders. - Build and maintain user-facing reports to help Axonify customers gain insights into their user base and surface opportunities to help Axonify customers grow their workforce. - Build and maintain data models which will power underlying customer/internal reports and analyses. - Partner with Product and Development teams to conduct product/feature analyses and build relevant reports to provide product insights. - Ensure data schemas for new features will support future analytics and data product needs. - Collaborate with various cross-functional stakeholders, including Product Managers, Developers, Designers, UX Researchers, and Data Engineers to address ad hoc data needs and work on projects related to organizing and analyzing data. - Be an integral part of the Data organization, leveraging and contributing to the vibrant knowledge base, shared across a community of world-class data experts. - Identify opportunities to leverage AI tools and techniques to automate tasks, improve code quality, or optimize software performance. Qualifications - Degree in quantitative field OR equivalent experience. - 3-4+ years of experience in a similar field. - Experience with Looker and Bigquery a must. - Strong proficiency with relational database (e.g., SQL) and statistical analysis/programming languages (e.g., R / Python). - Solid foundation in statistics with proficiency in fundamental statistical techniques such as t-tests, linear regression, etc. - Demonstrated ability to communicate and discuss complex topics with technical & non-technical audiences. - Good product and business acumen. - Demonstrated ability to take defined problems and solve them in a structured, hypothesis-driven, data-supported way. - Demonstrated experience of data warehousing concepts and how this applies to analytics and reports for new features. • Serve as a domain authority for nVent Data Solutions products, including their application, for nVent functions • Provide first-line product support by providing help to customers and colleagues using nVent Data Solutions and Electrical Connections • Evaluate customer RFQs and build costing/quotes with technical and commercial content • Provide technical application assistance to identify modified and engineered products based on customer specifications and application requirements • Prepare and submit quotations & proposals of non-standard products using internal CPQ and ERP systems • Conduct product training for customers and train distributors on quoting tools • Prepare compliance documents against customer specifications • Lead strategic projects for product improvements, cost reduction, product consolidation, and new product development • Review training literature for technical accuracy including installation guides and procedures, operations manuals, and online learning • Represent nVent in industry codes and standards committees • Provide market-specific intelligence and feedback on products and services to the commercial teams • Assist commercial teams with voice-of-customer (VOC) visits • Plan activities together with the Sales Leader • Identify the project in the closing phase with the sales team and provide vital technical support • Advises their manager about all situations, developments, and occurrences that are significant for the manager or are requested by them

• Develop and implement scalable and performant solutions. • Partner, as a peer, with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and stakeholders throughout Aledade to develop and execute technical roadmaps using Agile processes. • Mentor and coach more junior engineers including thorough pull request reviews for other developers and be receptive to critical feedback on your own work.
