Business Systems Analyst

• Partner with business units to gather, document, and validate functional and technical requirements for system enhancements and new implementations. • Translate business needs into clear, detailed specifications for IT and vendor teams, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. • Conduct gap analyses and recommend system solutions to improve operational efficiency, compliance, and loan quality. • Lead and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring system changes meet business requirements and perform as intended. • Develop process flows, use cases, and documentation to support system changes and enhancements. • Provide day-to-day system support, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating resolutions with IT or vendors. • Assist in system configuration, setup, and maintenance for core mortgage platforms and related applications. • Collaborate with compliance and operations teams to ensure systems meet regulatory and investor requirements. • Monitor and evaluate system performance, identifying opportunities for automation, integration, and process improvements. • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams to ensure effective communication and solution delivery.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field required.
  • 3+ years of business systems analysis or related experience in financial services or mortgage lending, Retail; Non-QM/wholesale mortgage experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of mortgage technology platforms (LOS, CRM, pricing engines, document management systems, etc.).
  • Proven ability to elicit requirements, perform system analysis, and deliver process improvements.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements impacting mortgage systems (e.g., TILA/TRID, RESPA, UDAAP).
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with SQL, reporting tools, or data analysis a plus.

As an IT System Engineer, you will support Ericsson's global Hardware Services organization by operating and evolving the tooling that enables Service Area Repair - today on platforms like FSM/M5, and tomorrow on Dynamics 365 (D365) with AI, machine learning and automation at the core. You will join a global, multicultural team that support ~1,000 customer contracts that deliver Hardware Services, mainly spare-part replacements, so your work has a direct impact on reverse-logistics and supply-chain performance for customers worldwide.
