Role Description Senior SAP S4 Solutions Architect - positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, Michigan). Note, this is a purely telecommuting/work-from-home position whereby the employee may reside anywhere within the U.S. - Understand the current business process across all regions and plants for Material Requirements Planning, Procurement and Logistics functions. - Lead discussion with various stakeholders to study the transformation of current process and legacy systems to Industry best standards, technology and systems focusing on the SAP Production Planning, Materials Management and other modules. - Lead and perform Requirements Gathering, Business Analysis, and Fit-Gap/Fit-to-Standard Analysis to understand the as-is/to-be states and identify key functionalities and process gaps. - Recommend possible technology and process solutions to address gaps. - Support user acceptant testing, cutover activities, data migration, and Post Go-Live support. - Configurate and customize S4 HANA system and integrate with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), MDM (Master Data Management) and Sourcing systems such as ARIBA. - Implement knowledge of Automotive Variant Configuration and MRP strategies. - Integrate Engineering Change Management (ECM) and Variant Configuration in Production Planning. - Demand flow from upstream system to drive the MRP and Capacity utilizations. - Work closely with management to prioritize business goals and information needs. - Stay current on SAP trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or a related field. - 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. - 6 years of experience with each of the following skills is required: - Utilizing SAP Functional Modules: Production Planning, Materials Planning, Materials Management, or Logistics. - Configuring SAP S4 HANA system. - Implementing end-to-end SAP. - Exploring, designing, and testing system integration UAT, and post Go-live support. - Implementing S/4 HANA or Fiori. - 3 years of experience with each of the following skills is required: - Integrating with PLM and MES 3rd Party tools. - Analyzing demand sales orders, forecasts, production plans, or sequencing. - Working in the Automotive/Manufacturing industry. Requirements - Salary of $121,784.00 - $192,900.00/yr.
